Hide from the Glory

Monday, April 19th, 2010

Enter into the rock and hide yourself in the dust from before the terror of the Lord and from the glory of His majesty. – Isaiah 2:10 AMP

As I’ve often said and repeat it here, “There is way too much flesh around these parts!” If you are still living in, embracing, and entertaining your flesh and others, then this is a prophetic warning to you. Enter the rock which is Yeshua (Jesus) and hide your flesh (it should not be seen). At this point in your walk, you should fear Adonai (the LORD). His majesty and glory is about to cover the earth in a way we’ve not seen in quite a while, and if you are still in your flesh, you better hide. That’s right, as His prophet, I warn you to hide from the glory and enter the Rock.

Resting gloriously in Him,

The Glory isn’t for Wimps!

Friday, April 16th, 2010
  1. AND THE angel who talked with me came again and awakened me, like a man who is wakened out of his sleep.
  2. And said to me, What do you see? I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl [for oil] on the top of it and its seven lamps on it, and [there are] seven pipes to each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it.
  3. And there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it [feeding it continuously with oil].
  4. So I asked the angel who talked with me, What are these, my lord?
  5. Then the angel who talked with me answered me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
  6. Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. – Zechariah 4:1-6 AMP

Many of you have heard expressions like, “S/he has a heavy anointing upon their life.” Or “The glory is heavy.” If these sayings are true, then they reveal that the glory isn’t for cowards, unbelieving saints, or wimps!  Some may not like today’s post.  At the same time, folks not liking the truth never changed the fact that it is the truth. Yes, I’m preaching today!  The truth is the truth whether you like it or even agree to it. We will be judged by truth like it or not.  The truth is Elohim (God) isn’t endowing someone who is emotionally, spiritually, or financially weak with His glory. You have to be strong to carry the glory on your shoulders.  You have to be strong to live in His glory on a daily basis.  You have to have power to demonstrate His character, nature, and power on a regular basis. The strength I’m talking about comes from enduring hardship like a soldier, handling rejection with wisdom and maturity, fasting and praying, and from our willingness to cooperate with and endure whatever the Potter takes us through that He may shine ever so brightly through us. So, my prayer for you today is found in the below scripture:

“I pray that you will be continually strengthened with all the power that comes from his glorious might; so that you will be able to persevere and be patient in any situation, joyfully.” – Colossians 1:11 CJB

We cannot live in His glory in our own strength, power, and might, but we must yield to Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) in order to do so.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Your anointing or His glory? – Part II (The Fragmented Body)

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

Yesterday we explored that no matter how anointed you believe you are, you’ll never manifest the complete and entire glory of God. We talked about God’s structure for the body in ministry, which is team ministry. Let’s expand this topic today. The entire glory (the nature, character, and power) of Elohim (God) is not contained in one vessel. We are many members with some gifts (Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 12). I possess one facet and aspect of Elohim’s glory (God’s glory) with the spiritual gifts He’s given me, but when these spiritual gifts are connected and joined to your ministry or other ministries, they are joined to the spiritual gifts of each and every leader and ascension gift in that ministry. Now, when we go forth together to minister, “Ahhh,” a more complete dimension and a more accurate reflection of Elohim’s glory (God’s glory) is revealed.

God has one continued message He’s conveying to us. There is one conversation and divine communication He’s having with us one at a time. He may even keep repeating it over and over again saying it through different vessels to convey it in a way that you or someone else can grasp and comprehend. He loves us and wants us to understand what He’s saying. He’s not hiding meaning from us, He’s hiding it for us (Matthew 13:11, 1 Cor 4:1, Daniel 2:47, Deut 29:29).

We must be sharp, alert, awake, sober-minded. By the way, if you are receiving partial messages and not God’s entire message, the partial is being superseded by the whole making it void and antiquated (1 Corinthians 13:10). Some may say it this way prophetically, “You’re late!” when you deliver a message that He delivered already and has moved on.

Let us pray:  ABBA, fine tune our ears and eyes to what you are saying. Cause us to seek you that you may reveal your mysteries, voice, and glory. Help us to seek after wisdom and understanding. Help us to come directly to you, not man. Open our eyes to see and believe that it is you, Yeshua, speaking to us through our circumstances, our pastors, mentors, coaches, the prophets and apostles, and that you hold all the understanding of each and every message and most often right in other things you have spoken to us. Elevate our pursuit of you. Break off all spiritual sloth, slack, and laziness. Sharpen us and open our eyes and ears like never before. We are your glory carriers, and it is pertinent that our seeing and hearing are perfected (i.e., sharp and quick, not dull) in you. Break the strongholds of self-serving ministry, lone rangers in ministry, and individuals with an anointing to a corporate body utilizing every spiritual gift you’ve blessed us with that your full glory is manifested in the lives of those you’ve called us to minister to. It is through Yeshua’s name we pray.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Your anointing or His glory? – Part I (The Fragmented Body)

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Have you ever heard, said, or thought, “I’m anointed all by myself.”  We are talking glory here, not anointing!  No one is a complete and entire manifestation of His glory by themselves. Some aren’t familiar with the prophetic team ministry concept. When prophetic teams work together in a presbytery or in a service, one team member will bring forth what Yahweh is saying to the corporate body or to a particular individual. Well, that team member prophesied in part, but then Yahweh will speak to another team member and that member will come forth and prophesy in part. By the time the entire team has ministered prophetically to the congregation (e.g., the corporate body) or the individual, you’ll see one message from the Father that was building through each vessel He spoke through.

It reminds me of this scripture:

9 For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).

10 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). - 1 Corinthians 13:9-10

The total team is a manifestation of the complete and perfect Word, message, and will of God. This is why haSatan (Satan) tries to destroy unity in the body, working together, and team ministry. Look at what happens in choirs. I know, I know, we’ve been told it’s because Lucifer was the minister of music in heaven and now he’s jealous of the fact that we still have the opportunity to worship Elohim (Ezekiel 28). Hmm . . . could it be he wants to stop the choir from coming forth worshiping in unity until one sound, one voice, and one prophetic message of the Father comes forth. Yes, it is so. Read 2 Chronicles 5:13-14. Okay, that’s for the worshipers. Now let’s go back . . .

If you’ve read the above-referenced scripture, you found out that when we go forth as a team the glory manifests.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Make it Known!

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power, To make known to the sons of men God’s mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of His kingdom. – Psalm 145:11-12 AMP

So many ministers seek, crave, and desperately pray for the glory of God. There is nothing wrong with this in and of itself if we look at it superficially, but a deeper look reveals a huge flaw, imperfection, and some gross error. You see His Kingdom is glorious and powerful and His mighty acts are taking place. As I often say and I repeat it today, the glory of God does not require us to go on a “hunt” for it as if it is lost! We simply need to recall, recount, and remember all the mighty deeds of our All Powerful God. You can do this in two ways. First, look to the word, which is filled with the knowledge of His glory. Second, look at your own life. If your walk has been anything like most called to the ministry, He has and continues to do things that reveal the majesty of His kingdom.

What’s lacking then? What is lacking is us making it known! Are you speaking of the glory of the kingdom of God? Are you talking about His powerful demonstrations? Are you making sons aware of His mighty deeds and His glorious kingdom majesty? Our patriarch fathers of the faith did. How different would it be if the Apostle Paul didn’t recall, record, and recount all the mighty glorious works of the kingdom for us throughout the renewed covenant? It’s time to make it known! Don’t hold back, and don’t rob others of seeing His majesty through our lives and ministries. If you are saying, “Prophetess Karen, I don’t have any mighty deeds to speak of.” I say, “Stop minimizing His majesty and power.” In The Making, I expose one of the biggest deceptions and lies we hold on to and it is this: We discount and are ungrateful for what we “perceive” to be the smaller manifestations of His glory. If you can’t or won’t embrace, speak of, and proclaim the “smaller manifestations” (e.g., baptism in tongues, speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, etc.), then why would God make known any “greater manifestations” (e.g., someone who is raised from the dead)? The command in this scripture is to speak, talk, and make it known, not to qualify what we think or believe we should make known. My prayer is that you are convicted to cast off and dismantle this mental stronghold and step into the freedom that comes to you and others to make known the mighty deeds of the Kingdom of God!

By the way, if you’d like to read about more glory misperception and deception, pick up a copy of The Making now.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Karen sig-the making

What are you meditating on? It does make a difference . . .

Monday, April 12th, 2010

On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works I will meditate. – Psalm 145:5 AMP

As you know this blog focuses on mentoring ministers to become complete and perfected glorious vessels that possess no cracks or imperfections that mar the shine of our God. In order to live in the glory of God, there are disciplines you must master and apply daily. If the ungodly master certain disciplines and apply them in order to achieve their empty glory, how much more so you, Christian five-fold leaders? So today, I unleash a discipline that you must master and apply to your life daily if you are going to yield to this making process. It’s this: Meditate on the glorious, splendorous, and majestic works of God. This discipline will create an atmosphere of glory filled with majestic miracles and wondrous acts of Almighty God. What you meditate on regularly, you become! So, what you meditate on makes a difference.

The Veil

Friday, April 9th, 2010

We often hear the phrase go beyond the veil. In the old covenant, the veil separated us from the Holy of Holies. It separated us from the very presence of God. One would say it prevented intimacy with the glory of God. How does this apply to us today? We still have a veil that separates us from the very presence – – the Shenikah of God, and it is our flesh. Leviticus 16 paints the picture of exactly how and when God wanted His priests to come into His presence. There is still a way He wants us, His priests, to come to Him. Some of us have become so casual with Him due to this dispensation of grace. We neglect to look to the shadows and typologies of the old covenant to gain an understanding of how to revere and esteem Him. Yes, now He tells us to come boldly to His throne of grace (due to Yeshua’s [Jesus’] sacrifice), but He still has a way He does not want us to come and that way is in the flesh. Do not be deceived; God does not want us in His presence with idolatry, witchcraft, fear, doubt, disbelief, impurity, indecency, and divisions? So, you aren’t entering in! There is a veil blocking you. Yes, I’m aware of the fact that we are in this imperfect container until Christ returns. At the same time, our flesh is our enemy, and we must do like Paul and beat it into subjection if we are going to live in the Spirit (His presence) and not in the flesh. I don’t know about your flesh, but my flesh has been taking some beatings lately!  Yeshua (Jesus) has made His enemies, including our flesh, His footstool. Let’s do our part and appropriate this victory every day. Here’s a good place to start:

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) – Hebrews 10:19-23

By the way, “our part” is to obey His promptings which always lead us to please the Father, to live a consecrated life – can’t go everywhere, say everything, and God forbid, everybody ain’t your friend/ministry partner.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Who Put Some Of Their Honour Upon You?

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

And thou shalt put [some] of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient. – Numbers 27:20

The Hebrew word here is howd (pronounced hōde) and is Strong’s 1935 meaning vigour, splendor, majesty, beauty, comeliness, goodly. So the question in this post subject becomes: Who (what man or woman/leader) Put Some of Their Honour (glory, majesty, comeliness, goodliness, beauty, eminence, freshness) Upon You?

So many of us want to move in the glory of God, bask in the glory, and give God glory without allowing anyone in the flesh to bestow an impartation of the glory and honour they have received directly from God. God has given ascension gifts in the form of apostles who long to impart to us some spiritual gifts and a portion of what they have received directly from the throne room. If you really want to move in the realms of glory, eventually God will choose an apostolic type of vessel to impart His honour upon you. This impartation is as much for you as it is for those who He’s called you to.

Perhaps the reason why those you have been called to are so disobedient is because you haven’t had a mother or father in the faith put some of their honour (a portion of God’s imparted glory) on you. It’s time to allow a God-sent apostolic vessel to put some of their honour upon you. Trust me you won’t regret it, and your assignment will become a little easier. Ask Timothy, Barnabus, the church of Corinth, and others who received an impartation of grace, splendor, and majesty from Apostle Paul.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Vacant Glories

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

A surrendered life is the key to living in the glory of Elohim (God). When you are completely submerged (e.g., surrendered to and in the Spirit), you will live by His urgings and prompting. Galatians 5 is the works of the flesh versus the fruit of the spirit chapter and many of us are familiar with how this passage reads. At the same time, there is a command that I believe many of us have missed. Here it is:

Be not of vacant glories! What is vacant glories? It is the thing in our flesh that causes us to ridicule one another in ministry (and in life), become full of self-glory, eager for empty glory, and envy one another’s ministry, house, status, glory, anointing, spiritual gifts, etc. (Galatians 5:26 AENT). When is the last time Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) found you in vacant glories? It’s time to repent and return to Him that He will fill you with His glory and cast off all vacant glory within you. This is my prayer for all in ministry who are being made into glorious vessels.

Resting gloriously in Him,

The Glory is Everywhere!

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

1 THE EARTH is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.

2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the currents and the rivers.

3 Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully.

5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]!

7 Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah [pause, and think of that]! – Psalm 24:1-10 AMP

As you know, I’ve been on a majestic journey into the glory of God for the past 11 plus years. One thing being on this journey has taught me (and I now teach you) is that the glory of God is everywhere! Every scripture in the word contains His glory. Every time I open the Word, there is a scripture pertaining to the glory of God. Many times, I’m studying on some other topic and BAM there is a scripture concerning His glory. Everywhere I look I see His glory in His creation. I see the glory of God in you as you move in His gifts (e.g., dance, writing, banner making, singing, mime, poetry, garment making, etc.). I see His glory in the sky, the ocean, the trees . . . everywhere. His nature and power are clearly visible. Stop looking and searching for the glory as if it’s lost and needs to be found; simply open up your spirit to take it in. It’s everywhere!

Here’s an assignment for you: Spend the next day or two asking God to lift up your head and open you up to see His glory in everything around you as you’ve never seen it before and then come back here and post on it. So, I’ll learn from you and see His glory everywhere you did.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Karen sig-the making
