Where’s my Inheritance?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, “Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.”– Numbers 18:20 KJV

ADONAI said to Aharon, “You are not to have any inheritance or portion in their land; I am your portion and inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” – Numbers 18:20 CJB

If you’re allowing Holy Spirit to mentor you via this blog, you know the pursuit of glory is about manifesting God’s character in every area of your life (i.e., ministry, business home, job, etc.)  This is a process which The Making outlines in greater detail.  You don’t get here overnight.  Many of us start out believing in our inheritance as it relates to the glory and midway through the perfecting part, we start getting anxious.  We start thinking or asking, “Where’s my inheritance?”  We start looking for prophecies relating to our glorious inheritance to come to pass.  I’m here today to tell you what God told me the holdup is.  When you are mature, your inheritance will be released.  When you are ready (e.g., fully mature) with Christ fully formed, developed, and  seen, He’ll release the intended glory, miracles, signs, wonders, etc.

If a natural parent does not give their children access to their inheritance until the right age, what makes us think God is going to release ours any soon than the fullness of time?  Keep your focus on the perfecting process and before you know it, your inheritance will manifest!

Not us, You!

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Not to us, ADONAI, not to us, but to your name give glory, because of your grace and truth. ” – Psalm 115:1 CJB

When you are used by Elohim (God) to manifest His glory, it can become so easy to either allow people to put the focus on you or you yourself draw attention to yourself.  Ministers of the Most High God if we aren’t careful, we can lose sight of the fact that it’s Him working through us, not us.  I’m not speaking of a false humility that denies one’s self as if not good enough or question one’s ability.  What I speak of is being lifted and puffed up with pride.  A “Look at me and what I’m doing” unspoken attitude.  We can do nothing without Him, and we accomplish nothing in our own strength.  So, let’s keep things in proper perspective here.  The glory is His and His alone!  It’s not us that is to be seen/glorified, but Him for His love and truth is magnificently glorious.

Focused on His glory,

Greedy for Your Glory!

Monday, June 28th, 2010

How blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness! for they will be filled.” – Matthew 5:6 CJB

All you who are thirsty, come to the water!  You without money, come, buy, and eat!  Yes, come!  Buy wine and milk without money – it’s free!  2 Why spend money for what isn’t food, your wages for what doesn’t satisfy? Listen carefully to me, and you will eat well, you will enjoy the fat of the land.” – Isaiah 55:1-2 CJB

There are so many false appetites in the body.  Through our greed, we crave food, material things, and pleasure.  It’s time out for feeding false appetites, and it’s time to develop a pure, true appetite for food that satisfies.  I know of only one such food.  It’s Him as Bread!  When is the last time you ate Him?  Yeshua extended the eternal invite . . . “Take eat, my body” (Matthew 26:26, 1 Corinthians 11:24)!

When is the last time you couldn’t stop drinking the water that is not from this world (John 4:10, 13-14)?  When is the last time you cried out, “Lord, you’ve given me much and I require much of you?” (Luke 12:48)  I just did; every single one of these questions can emphatically be answered, “Right now!” because I’m greedy for the glory.  I have an insatiable appetite for it.  I must draw from the strength, power, and wisdom of the vine (John 15).  There is a rich treasury of His glory.  There is no need to be jealous or hoard; there is plenty.  So, the only question that remains is, “Are you hungry greedy for His glory?”

The Rich Treasury of the Glory

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Lately, Yahweh has been challenging me to discern when teaching is needed and when judgment is needed.  He’s been pushing me out of the teaching grace into the judgment grace.  He’s been dealing with me like He dealt with many prophets when He asked them, “What do you see?”  I’m learning that when He asks me this question He’s calling me to judge what I am seeing against His measuring line . . . the Word.  Well, if He’s ever called you to judge, you could imagine what it takes:  boldness, courage, and strength.

So, I headed to my prayer closet to pray for just that.  I appropriated Jude 20 so I could rise up like a mighty, powerful temple.  After Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) prayed through me, I felt like the scripture that says, “With God we can leap over a troop (Psalm 18:29).”  Despite the empowerment I felt, I’ve learned to sit, be still, and let Him speak to unfold what I can’t describe with and through this natural lens.  He said, “Ephesians 3:8 and go to Ephesians 3,” as that was one of the scriptures that popped up during prayer.  So, I grabbed my bible and headed over to Ephesians 3.  I read 3:20 and then the entire chapter.  Holy Spirit hovered over this verse:

May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].” – Ephesians 3:16 AMP

I discovered that we have a rich treasury of glory that we can access to be strengthened, reinforced, and built up with His mighty power in our inner man by Holy Spirit indwelling us fully.  This mighty power literally causes Christ to take up residence in that area we are asking for strength.  By our faith in the fact that we have accessed the rich treasury of glory, it’s no longer you or I who completes the task before us.  No, it’s not our personality, persona, strength, bright ideas, etc., but it’s literally Christ who dwells in our innermost being in a way He didn’t previously.  Ah . . . the rich treasury of glory.  Are you accessing it for the strength, boldness, and courage to do all He is requiring of you?  I can’t afford not to!

Strengthened by glory,

That’s Glorious!

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

22 but keep away from every form of evil.

23 May the God of shalom make you completely holy – may your entire spirit, soul and body be kept blameless for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

24 The one calling you is faithful, and he will do it. -1 Thessalonians 5:22-24 CJB

When you are displaying His glory, His very nature, He’s pure and perfection, holiness, good and the only one we can even call good.  An unclean, unwholesome, impure, guilt-ridden spirit, body, and soul does not bring God any glory.  Well, it brings some god (e.g., the god of this world, Satan) glory, but it doesn’t glorify the Almighty God of heaven.  A pure, blameless spirit, body, and soul . . . now that’s glorious!  Have you embraced blameless glory yet?  I’m not talking about it in and of your own self/man-made efforts, but by the Son of Man’s (i.e., Yeshua’s) efforts?  I can show you how.  Reach out to me by clicking here.

Exposed by the Glory

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

Yeshua is the glory of the Father, and He’s our Glory.  He is the Word too, and he will expose you.  Now before you pullout your soulish barriers, let me reveal what He showed me.  This is between you and Him, not you and me or some other leader.  I’m not getting ready to prophetically expose someone right here on this blog.  Well, maybe I will.  Seriously, back to the unfolding.  Have you ever read the word and every verse in the chapter you were lacking and deficient in possessing the very character and essence of it?  What you just experienced is being exposed by the Glory.  All you can do when this happens is say, “I’m guilty.” and pray, “I’m convicted, Lord . . . bring me the increase in this area(s).  I want to walk in the fruit of this entire chapter.”  When is the last time you were exposed by and surrendered to the Glory, the Word, Himself?

All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living; – 2 Timothy 3:16 CJB

“Isn’t my word like fire,” asks ADONAI, “like a hammer shattering rocks? – Jeremiah 23:29 CJB

Glory Distractions

Monday, June 21st, 2010

On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, I made this statement:  “Do you think the world, the flesh, and the devil are going to sit idly by while you ascend into the glory?”  Let’s expound on this today.  As you ascend into glory realms, you will encounter things that try to unearth you and unseat you from your position in Christ.  In order to fight the good fight of faith and continue on the journey into the glory, you must be focused and determined.  Here are two scriptures you can employ to help you:

Psalm 112:7-8 KJV

7  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8  His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 AMP

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

25 Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.

26 Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.

27  But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].

A definite aim, lay hold of the prize, discipline your flesh, less you be proved a counterfeit after having preached this gospel to everyone . . .. these are the keys of this passage of scripture.  Although it is referring to eternal crowns and rewards, it still applies here.  The glory is eternal and it is our right and privilege to lay hold of it by discipling ourselves for it to be manifested in our lives and ministry.  This is the reward ministers of the gospel should be focused on, not monetary rewards. The glory is priceless, eternal; don’t let anything distract you from it.

Wake up My Glory

Friday, June 18th, 2010

I’m often asked by ministers of the gospel, “How do you do it all?”  Well, first it’s Him working through me.  I can do nothing without Him, and truly it is not by my power or might, but by Ruach haKodesh  (His Holy Spirit).  This isn’t false humility.  It’s truly humility.  I’ve learned to lean my entire personality, person, talents, gifts, and abilities on Him.  I allow Him to infuse me with the strength I need to do what He’s assigned my hands.  With all this being said, there is one key above all this that is very instrumental in doing it all, and it’s this:  I allow Him to wake up the glory on the inside of me so I can do His work as the  scripture says, and it’s that’s simple.  So the next time you’re struggling with all He’s assigned your hands to do simply say to yourself, “Wake up my glory, you’ve got work to do!”

Are you enjoying the glory of God?

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God. – Romans 5:2b

There are so many miserable ministers of the gospel.  Where’s the joy?  It’s found in experiencing the glory of God.  In the fullness of His presence, there is joy.  So, if you are miserable all the time, this tells me you aren’t experiencing the fullness of His manifested presence. Note:  The key word here is “fullness.”  You must experience the fullness, not some partial, half-baked temporary high.  The fullness I speak of here lingers.  You live in it because He lives in you.  You have made Him a habitation.  Your temple is where He resides.  So let us rejoice in our hope of glory right now as we experience Him living, ministering, and loving through us.  I’m enjoying the glory of God.  How about you?

Dwelling in glory realms,

No Man Can Do You Any Wrong

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

21 He allowed no man to do them wrong; yes, He reproved kings for their sakes,

22 Saying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm. – 1 Chronicles 16:21-22 AMP

There are too many Christians who focus on and quote the twenty-second verse of this passage only.  How about the twenty-first verse?  Look at powerful it is.  We learn from it that it’s greater than “touching” you with their mouth, hands, or otherwise.  It reveals that no one can do us any harm.  Yahweh will reprove kings for us.  So, stop, quit, and give up the need to defend and validate yourself.  It doesn’t matter what they say or do.  When our ways please Him even our enemies become His footstool.  He will reprove , correct, and judge your bosses, pastors, and any other leader over you who attempt to spitefully use you or do you wrong.

As a minister of the gospel, you need to grab hold of the powerful security laid up for you in this passage of scripture.  Do you think the world, the flesh, and the devil are going to sit idly by while you ascend into the glory?  Of course they won’t, but the beautiful thing about is that there is nothing they can do about where He’s taking you in the glory.  That’s right no man (no servant, male, female, leader, great man, or champion) can do you any wrong.  And remember, He will reprove (argue before, chide, judge, to prove, show, make clear as the sunshine, demonstrate, rebuke, convict) any king for your sake.   Hold on to that this week and for eternity.

Captivated by the glory,

Karen sig-the making
