1 JOSHUA ROSE early in the morning and they removed from Shittim and came to the Jordan, he and all the Israelites, and lodged there before passing over.

2 After three days the officers went through the camp,

3 Commanding the people: When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being borne by the Levitical priests, set out from where you are and follow it.

4 Yet a space must be kept between you and it, about 2,000 cubits by measure; come not near it, that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you must go, for you have not passed this way before.

5 And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves [that is, separate yourselves for a special holy purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.

6 Joshua said to the priests, Take up the ark of the covenant and pass over before the people. And they took it up and went on before the people. – Joshua 3:1-6 AMP

• When Yahweh promises you something you must sanctify yourself for that purpose if you desire to see His wonders among you.
• Keep your eyes on the glory.  In fact, we are told to follow it, chase, pursue it even if it costs us everything.
• Allow the glory of Yahweh to guide you to where you haven’t been before.
• Not only should you follow the presence (e.g., the glory in the person of Christ), you must carry it on your shoulders. How do you carry the glory and keep your eyes on where you are going at the same time. You don’t. He does. Look up, not ahead!

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. – Eph 3:12 KJV

Our role as ministers of Yahweh is to uproot every false ministry, ministry idol, spirit of competition, envy, pride, greed, infirmity, ambition, and false god worship that exists in the high places within the ranks of leadership.  I am amazed by those who say they are leaders of the Most HIGH Yahweh, but live such  low lives!  He is the Most HIGH Yahweh, and He created positions in leadership to be filled with His glory through the vessels He’s made into His image.  Everything else must go, must be taken authority over, and cast out.

I speak to every high place and I say the enemy within or without will not control the high places Yahweh establishes for Himself.  I declare that every high wall that has been erected through fear, disappointment, and rejection that’s keeping His glory out will come down today.  You were made to walk in the high places in His glory, not in wickedness or works of the flesh.

Today on my drive in to my consulting gig, I began to give glory to Yahweh by recounting all the scriptures that affirm who He is and what He does, His nature, His power, and His majesty.  By the time I reached my destination I realized He was using this drive time glory for a greater purpose.  He had you in mind as I gave Him glory.  My spirit man overflowed with His glory by the time I arrived, and He said to me, “Give them this same assignment.”  So mentee, your assignment is to ascribe glory to Him by allowing Ruach haKodesh to bring scriptures to your remembrance that affirm who He is and what He does, His nature, His power, and His majesty.  To get you started, I’ll share the ones that He brought up to me today:

Revelation 1:8
Psalm 24:8
Deut 10:17
Psalm 66:3

For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). – Matthew 24:24 AMP

Recently, I’ve been sensing a theme to the things Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) is speaking and showing me.  The theme is that there is an influx of false Christs, teaching, and prophets in the body.  So many err in their lack of knowledge of who Yahweh truly is and fail to possess an intimate knowledge of His word and His power.

According to Strong’s G4105, the word deceive in the above passage of scripture means:

* to cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way

* to go astray, wander, roam about

* to lead away from the truth, to lead into error

* to be led into error

* to be led aside from the path of virtue, to go astray, sin

* to sever or fall away from the truth

* heresy

* to be led away into error and sin

We preach and teach about the sons of Issachar knowing the times and yet many fail to discern the false worship of a false Christ and do not have ears to hear the false gospel that many are living, preaching, worshiping , and teaching.  How many discern they are being led away from the truth into error by a leader they have chosen?  How many realize they have fallen off the path of true glory into deceptive glory?

My prayer for you, mentee is that you would be intimately acquainted with the word of Yahweh and His power to safeguard and insulate you from being led away from the true path of glory.  I also pray 3 John 3:2 which when studied out means to pray for a safe and prosperous journey.  These are my prayers for you.  Keep your eyes open and cry out to Ruach haKodesh for more discernment that you may recognize false Christs, prophets, teacher, and gospel as soon as you encounter any one of them.

As you know, I’m always looking to go from this level of glory to the next.  I’m always focusing in on the next thing Yahweh wants to teach me about the glory that I may in turn impart and teach you.  I’m on a never ending quest to walk in more of His glory, which you know I believe is a two-fold aspect of His character and power. Well in my quest today, I flipped to the word glory in my Amplified bible concordance and there was an asterisk next to the word.  I never noticed it was there as many times as I turned to this entry in this bible.

So, I went to the beginning of the concordance to see what the asterisk symbolized.  The asterisk is the Amplified bible’s way of indicating an amplified meaning that may be studied out in Hebrew and Greek and best referenced in the concordance in addition to the original word search one is conducting.  So for glory that word is majesty.  When I saw this word, I signed ah . . . . and then Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) illuminated me.  He said, “Majesty is another to convey the Father’s character and nature to the mentees.  So when you think of glory and how you should live in it every day, look for signs that you are acting like Your Majesty acts, sounding like He sounds.  The next time your flesh tempts you, think about Majesty being personified through you.  What would it look, sound, and act like right now?  How would majesty handle that?  How would majesty respond?

7 In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed] and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father].

8 Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered

9 And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him, – Hebrews 5:7-9 AMP

When I read this passage of scripture the bolded portion speaks volumes to me.  Yahshua’s prayers were heard by the Father because of His reverence, godly, fear, and piety (godly character) and His willingness to pray not only what He wanted, but needed.  How about your prayers?  Yahshua shrank from the horror of being separated from the bright presence (e.g., glory and magnificence) of the Father.  How about you . . . does it terrify you to know that you will be separated from His bright presence if you don’t live life in total submission, obedience, and reverence of Him?

Many of us are terrified of living without and being separated from many things, places, and people, but I don’t believe the majority of us have a strong conviction that leads to the terrorizing thoughts of being without the presence and glory of the Father.  If this were true of us, our lives, homes, church houses, and ministries wouldn’t reflect the irreverence they do.

Yahshua is our perfect example of glory, and yet we see even He, as Yahweh’s son, had to be made perfectly and equipped.  I pray you are not still fighting Yahweh’s process.  It’s a must in order to be perfectly made into all he desires and be perfectly equipped with all He has for you.  For those of you who are yielding, I pray you covet this place like the rich pearl in the Kingdom that you have found and that you shriek at the terrorizing thought of being separated from His glory for even one minute.

In The Making, Yahweh led me to devote an entire chapter to pray for the glory. Today, I share some new scriptural prayers to pray for the glory in your own life.

Adonai (LORD) let the heavens drop dew upon my life (Deuteronomy 33:28).

Father, bow the heavens and come down on me (Psalm 144:5).

ABBA, let the heavens be opened over my life enabling me to see visions and night visions (Ezekiel 1:1).

Shake the heavens, Yahweh and fill my house (both natural and spiritual) with Your glory (Haggai 2:6-7).

Many of us cry out to God to bring us up higher, to elevate us, and to promote us.  At the same time, we make this plea, He is making one too.  His plea at that time is for you to go deeper.  He longs for you to get out of the shallow waters that you are swimming in.  He desires you to come out from among the shallow, big-soul people.  He wants you to develop more character and more fruit before you go up.

This is not the first place our mind goes to when we hear the phrase going deeper, go deep, or deep calls unto deep.  Typically, we have grand ideas of profound revelations, visions, mysteries unfolded, and Yahweh translating us from one place to another and taking us on a spiritual journey where an angel explains mysteries to us.  I’m not saying this perception isn’t one that characterizes going deeper.  What I am saying, by His grace, is that He’s more concerned with what you say and how you’ll act after these types of experiences as well as how you live day by day.  You see, the glory of Yahweh isn’t only about special spiritual events and being taken away by the Spirit of Yahweh.  It’s about living in His glory every day.  It’s about displaying His mercy, love, kindness, justice, and character every day of our lives in this earth realm.  So examine yourself by asking these questions:  Have I really given Yahweh the permission to take me deeper?  Have I totally yielded to His making process?

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. – Psalm 42:7 KJV

Yesterday, Yahweh taught you about glory connections through me.  Today, I’m led to share an excerpt from The Making on glory connections.  Here it is:

“In the body we often speak of divine connections or destiny connections. A divine or destiny connection can be defined as a connection sent from God to help you reach your destiny.  I’ve seen these types of relationships in action.  I’ve often wondered why I didn’t seem to have many of them around me.  I would often ask Yahweh, “Who is here and who are You  sending to help me reach the destiny You preordained?”  I’ve never heard Him directly say, “Nobody.

At the same time, they never showed up either.  I now have a greater understanding of why.  I’m not saying there haven’t been people along the way who have helped and supported me. I am saying those relationship have been far and few between.  The reason being is Yahweh wants glory connections versus divine connections for me.  You see, new agers also perceive they are divine.  So do occultists.”

With that excerpt we see that somehow we adopt sayings that sound “spiritual” and indeed they are, but the question becomes, “What spirit is the term derived from and what spirit embraces this saying?  We were born to reflect His glory, live in His glory, and connect to the glory in the lives of His children.  Let’s stop desiring to merely connect with any and every divine being and desire to connect with the glory of Yahweh.

You know this leadership life can be very challenging in terms of find companionship and fellowship that is on the same glory path as you are.  I’ve lived with this realization since Yahweh released me into ministry in 1989.  I lived on the emotional roller coaster of “high hopes and belief” that I’d meet some really good friends in ministry to “depression lows and doubt” that I ever would every time I discovered those I thought were on the glory path indeed were not.

As I began to cry out to Yahweh, He caused me to realize that He was protecting the glory on my life by not allowing me to connect with those who walked in darkness out of the pulpit, but pretended they lived in the light in the pulpit.  The more He opened my eyes and showed me the character of various ministers, the more I began to rest in the fact that I was in a safe place and a good place.  I gave my deepest and passionate desire for companionship in ministry to Him.  I truly cast all my cares about being alone and being misunderstood in ministry onto Him.   By His Spirit, He brought me into a place of rest where this strong desire began to dissipate.  One day it just wasn’t as strong as it used to be.  At the same time I discovered this truth, I realized that He valued what He had deposited in me so much that He wouldn’t allow anything and everyone around me to befriend me or enter into a relationship with me.  I didn’t know it at the time, but He was replacing my fleshy desire for companionship and relationship in ministry with a desire born of the Spirit called glory connections.  He taught me about glory connections.  A glory connection is me connecting to the glory in your life or another’s life and others connecting to the glory in my life.   He’s given me the perfect scripture to bring this home for you.  It’s this:

16 Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh].

17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

You see if you are going to connect to the glory within me and if I’m to connect to the glory in you, then we can’t get to know one another based on fleshy terms.  We must get to know the new creation in Christ Yahshua.  We must replace our fleshy desire for connection with a holy desire to connect with the new man Yahshua in one another.  It’s time for glory connections.  The fresh and new has come!  Yes, Adonai (LORD) connect me to the glory.  I don’t want any relationships that are born of the flesh, the world, or the devil.  Enable me by your grace to no longer desire destiny connections and fleshy companionship/relationships.  Help me to desire what you desire for me.  Thank you for loving me enough to protect me from that which is not your best for me.  Manifest your glory in my life by connecting me to the glory in my brothers and sisters in Christ Yahshua.
