A Glorious Appetite – Part II

Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! – 1 Chronicles 16:11

The Hebrew word for strength in the passage of scripture is oze meaning material, social, physical, political, and personal might.  The Hebrew word for seek in the passage of scripture is baqash meaning to require, exact, demand, request, desire, to seek to secure.  The Hebrew word for continually in the passage of scripture is tamiyd meaning daily, perpetually, always, to stretch.  Allowing Holy Spirit to put it all together, we see that we are commanded to require, demand, request, attempt to secure His material, social, physical, political, and personal might daily, perpetually, always even when it’s a stretch to do so.  I don’t know about you, mentee, but I need His political, social, personal, and physical in order to complete the work He’s assigned my hands.  I demand it.  I crave for it.  I have developed a glorious appetite for it.  How about you?

Written with fresh glory,
