Are you resting gloriously? – Part II
I pray you are holding on to the rest God gave you yesterday. Today, we go deeper and get more specific with this topic. Mentee, by now if you have been following this blog, you know that each one of us have a unique way that we reflect the power, character, and nature – the glory – of God.
I shine via this statement: A grace-filled life of truth, wisdom, creativity, love and joy-filled communion with God and others. So not only does resting gloriously mean aligning myself with generic characteristics of God’s power and nature, but also the specific aspects of my glory statement. I rest gloriously when I align myself with His truth – the absolute truth — and when I cease from striving and allow His grace to enable me to do all He’s called me to do and be. I rest gloriously when I draw on His wisdom and lean not to my own understanding. I share this with you not to draw attention to me, but to inspire and challenge you to take the step and get clear about your glory statement.
The next time you meet God, ask Him to reveal how you uniquely shine for Him. If you want some support with unfolding this statement with clarity, power, and awe, go here. (See package #1 – Living True)
I’m resting gloriously! Are you?
“But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.” – 1 Kings 5:4 KJV
Resting gloriously in Him,
