Be Still and Know I am God – Part II
Be still, and know that I am Elohim (God): I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10 KJV
I challenged you yesterday to spend some “be” time with our Father. How did it go? Well, I don’t want you to stop there. I want you to continue until this becomes a lifestyle for you. Have you taken some time today to “be?”
Some of the most glorious things Father has told me have come out of the time I carve out to be with Him. I have received much-needed ministry instructions during these times. I don’t share this with you to boast of lofty supernatural occurrences. I share this with you to provoke you to Godly jealousy and spur you on in this practice of being.
I see so many ministry leaders caught up in the cycle of doing. They run from special event to special event and from conference to conference. When do they really hear from Elohim (God) and receive instructions about the direction He desires to take them in ministry? How can you walk in the glory of Elohim (God) if you aren’t receiving specific instructions? If Elohim (God) tells you to place your hand on the side of someone’s face to begin the healing process and you place it on their ear, you have missed the glory. Jesus spent time with the Father before, during, and after ministering. I believe He knew exactly who would be healed, and how prior to even stepping foot on the scene because He carved out time to “be” with Abba.
I remember this one minister Elohim (God) enabled me to minister to about the busyness in his life. My husband and I were attending a service at a church he pastored. According to his calendar the service had to end, as he had another service in less than 30 minutes in a town about 30 minutes away. Holy Spirit clearly was not finished. He was still ministering to His people, and the minister kept saying, “I have to go; the car has pulled up to the front door and is waiting on me.” Elohim (God) urged me to walk over to Him. When he acknowledged me, Elohim (God) said, through me, “Bring me your calendar and let me fill it.” He just looked at me like a deer caught up in the headlights of a car.
The lesson for you mentee is, let Elohim (God) determine the when, where, and how He chooses to manifest His glory through you, and the bonus is if you spend time “being” with Him, He’ll clue you in to each and every detail before you arrive. I’ve seen Him do it time and time again. Trust me, and now go “be” with Him. Find some more scriptures that focus in on your identity and inheritance.
I’ll see you back here on Monday.
Resting gloriously in Him,
