Are you seeking glory from other people?

Beloved mentee,

I’m easing back into the swing of things as I continue seeking His face concerning next steps and direction and today in prayer He spoke this and I knew to share it with you.

As you may or may not know or recall, glory is defined as the character, nature, and power of Yahweh. He’s spent that past two years teaching you, through me, about glory primarily from the aspect of His character and nature because this is the order in which He releases glory to us. So many folks in ministry speak of glory from the power aspect only (i.e., doing the works of Yahushua) and yet fail to speak of the character and nature of Yahushua and Yahweh (i.e., the being like Father and the Son).

Today’s post focuses on the power aspect of His glory and further defines glory based on the Hebrew word kabowd pronounced kä·vōde’. Kabowd means honor, splendor, abundance, dignity, reputation, reverence, riches, magnificence, and precious things. The figurative meaning of this word is heaviness, to be weighty/influential. In light of this, Yahweh is asking, “Are you seeking honor, splendor, abundance, dignity, a reputation, reverence, riches, magnificence, precious things, and to be influential from other people?”

“For we never used flattering speech, as you know, or had greedy motives —God is our witness and we didn’t seek glory from people, either from you or from others.” – 1 Thess 2:5-6 HCSB

We see from the above scripture this is not what we should do. As a ministry leader, those who you have preached the gospel to that have receive it and are imitating you as you imitate Christ are the people who become your glory and joy. Look at this:

“For who is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you? For you are our glory and joy!” – 1 Thess 2:19-20 HCSB

You see, unmade leaders seek glory from men, and made leaders cause others to become glorious, honorable, rich, weighty, prosperous, influential men. Which kind of leader are you . . . made or unmade? If unmade, you can begin the making process by clicking here.

Transfiguration Glory

Mentee,

Yahweh gave me a word to answer the “Why is it snowing so much?” question that everybody is asking after a recent snowstorm toppled through 39 states. I’m impressed of Him to share Mark 9:3 with you today.

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. - KJV

He wants us to be so clean, beloved that our clothes shine with His glory. Don’t fight His cleansing process that results in a transfiguration glory upon your life. When we allow Him, He can get our clothes cleaner than any earthy bleach ever could. Are you white as snow yet? Allow Him to search your heart and life and make you clean. The great multitudes are waiting to be change, metamorphosed, and exalted by the transfiguration glory you can hold of as you cooperate with Ruach Ha Kodesh’s (Holy Spirit’s) sanctifying process.

This is what I’ve been waiting for!

Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew. – Psalm 110:3

Many of you know I’m called to the office of a prophet and that means different things to different people based on their personal experience with those professing or aspiring towards the office. Well, the Bible clearly portrays prophets paired with kings (i.e., leaders, rulers). Some were exceptionally blessed to be assigned to a good king, but most were assigned to wicked kings. The role of the prophet in either case is to tell them what Yahweh says about their kingdom (e.g., their leadership). In the latter case, their sayings were unwelcomed judgment of the wicked king’s kingdom.

In prayer yesterday concerning a wicked king I’ve been assigned to in the marketplace, I heard Yahweh say, “Tell them Psalm 109:8-9, 12-18.” Emotionless, I wrote down verbatim what He instructed me to do from that passage. My flesh started to ask, “When, how, etc.?” I quickly shifted out of the flesh into His Spirit and said, “Yes, I’m willing!” The next day in prayer about the situation, I heard Him say, “This is what I’ve been waiting for!” Immediately, I knew He was referring to an opportunity to manifest His glory through me. Will you be utterly willing when He calls on you to display His glory? This is what He’s been waiting for! I am, and so I step into the true glory of the prophetic office. How about you . . . have you stepped into the true glory of the office (e.g., pastor, prophet, evangelist, apostle, or teacher) He’s called you into? This is what I have and He has been waiting for!

Not Flying Colors, Glory Colors

Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face and I heard a voice of One speaking. – Ezekiel 1:28 AMP

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake. – Ezekiel 1:28 KJV

Recently in prayer regarding trials and tests I’m facing now, and truly, I didn’t know how to pray about the situation at all anymore, so I asked Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) to pray through me and He did. Then I said, “Get me through this test with . . . and the word “victorious” came to mind. Of course, that’s not it; I’m always victorious (He causes me to triumph in Christ Yahshua). So, the next thought came to mind with the words “with flying colors.” Immediately, Ruach haKodesh said, “Not flying colors, but glory colors.” Yes, I exclaimed that’s what I need and want. I want to come through with the rainbow spectrum of your glory shining brightly in, on, and upon me! What test or trial are you facing right now? Ask Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) to help you come through it infused with the colorful nature, power, and character of Yahweh. What colors do you think glory is? He showed me there’s blue for healing in case you get wounded, white for purity, yellow for His wisdom, purple for your royal Sonship nature, black for wholeness/peace, and red for war because the violent take it by force and some blood will be shed.

It’s time to come through whatever we are going through with glory colors!

MaKing

As I sat and looked at The Making book today, the “King” in the title leaped out the page at me and this post was birthed. The King makes us and what He makes us into is permanent and can’t be undone! The King does not have an undo button like Microsoft Word. Once He makes you, you are complete. He does a a complete work; nothing is left undone. He’s the Master Crafter. The Master Potter is he. Just because you have a brief moment when you yield to your emotions it does not mean all the work Father has done in you becomes undone. All you have to do, mentee is ask for forgiveness and shift back into spiritual alignment. The King wants you to stop listening to the voice of the accuser who is attempting to make you believe Yahweh (God) hasn’t done the work in you that you know He’s done.

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. – Philippians 1:6 AMP

Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. – Hebrews 7:25 AMP

Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. – Psalm 100:3 AMP

Don’t Delay me . . . I’ve got a Destination!

And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [^[a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them], – 1 Corinthians 2:4 AMP

Ministers who are hearer but not doers, talkers but not walkers are sent to delay you. Their assignment is to get you a “hoping” and a “wishing” that you’ll get to manifest the glory of Yahweh (God). They lure you in with powerfully perceived “new revelation” and hidden mysteries in the word of Yahweh (God). When you stick around long enough, you’ll surely see that they are empty clouds. Their own lives reflect it. They are in debt and truly they aren’t prepared in the natural to walk in the glory. They have unmade areas in their life that through rebellion and sin have barred the door shut. Said with more clarity, they have shut Yahshua (the Door) out of certain areas of their life by unsurrendering them to Him fully. They play with Him and the spirits and strongholds they erected through their unyieldness are playing with them. They aren’t walking in 1 Corinthians 12:3.

Today, I’m calling you out from among them in to your destination (or destiny as some say). Your destination is to manifest His power in your life. Who is trying to supernaturally delay you? . . . ask ABBA today! Once you have your answer, cut them off because you can’t be delayed. The earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of Yahweh. Those assigned your hands are waiting to be set free. Will you prolong or shorten their oppression? That all depends on whether you’ll allow yourself to be delayed or not. For me . . . I can’t be delayed; the glory is waiting. My confession, with action today, is “Don’t delay me . . . I’ve got a destination!”

The Qualifications of Sharing in the Glory

1 I WARN and counsel the elders among you (the pastors and spiritual guides of the church) as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a sharer in the glory (the honor and splendor) that is to be revealed (disclosed, unfolded):

2 Tend (nurture, guard, guide, and fold) the flock of God that is [your responsibility], not by coercion or constraint, but willingly; not dishonorably motivated by the advantages and profits [belonging to the office], but eagerly and cheerfully;

3 Not domineering [as arrogant, dictatorial, and overbearing persons] over those in your charge, but being examples (patterns and models of Christian living) to the flock (the congregation). – 1 Peter 5:1-3 AMP

Today’s post is a warning and admonition to shepherds who use their leadership and influence to produce a false glory that benefits and serves them versus producing Godly glory that Is focused on serving, equipping, and building up His people.

Many times we get so fixed on the glory and manifesting His glory right now that we lose sight of the fact that there is a glory yet to be revealed . . . reserved for a later time. We will rule and reign with Him as overcomers. Leaders, we shouldn’t become so blinded by our day-to-day challenges that we forget we are one day closer to judgment day each and every day. If we are to partake of the glory that is to be revealed, we cannot afford to be overtaken by the lusts of the flesh (e.g., hungry for power) and lusts of the eyes (e.g., greedy and craving for material things – all the things we see and believe we want, have to have, and can’t live without).

Pastors, we are servants, slaves of the Most High Yahweh. Be eager to serve and serve humbly and joyously, not with a whip and a stick beating people into total submission to the orders you bark from the pulpit. Adopting the posture and attitude of Christ, (servanthood, humility, obedience to Father) is the only way to share in the glory that is to be revealed. Repent, change your mind about how you’ve been leading, pastor and line up with the way of Christ. I know there are some (a remnant) of pastors who have let the mind of Christ permeate their service. At the same time, there are still far too many that haven’t and this is who Yahweh (God) is calling to attention today through this post.

The Glorious Rewarder

Wisdom from the throne . . . “Worldly folk demand and look for respect, but the righteous seek honor from the LORD.”

Mentee, I pray that the training you are receiving is purifying your ministry motives. We must be striped and purged of worldly mindsets in order to be used to our fullest glory capacity in Christ Yahshua (Christ Jesus). I admonish you today to submit to the purging, purifying, and making process that He may bestow more than respect on you. Trust me respect is fleeting, temporal and honor is eternal and everlasting. Yahshua showed us this as they cried Hosanna, Hosanna one minute and the next minute, according to them, He was casting out devils by the prince of devils Beelzebub himself.

LORD, keep your mentees looking, craving, and seeking You the Rewarder who rewards us with eternal merit and virtue.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. – Hebrews 11:6

Are you Submitted to Glory?

I also mentor prophets in an online school. Recently, Yahweh gave them an assignment that uncovered onyx in the realm of the Spirit (e.g., hidden manna). I’m sharing what Ruach haKodesh uncovered because I believe it will minister, mentor, and bless you too. He unveiled that there are people who can, do, and are utterly willing to submit to powerless spiritual oversight (e.g., pastors, prophets, apostles, etc.).

If Yahweh graces and appoints someone He wants me to submit to, the glory will be evident in their life. So when I’m submitted to them, I’m really submitting to the glory, which we know from our earlier mentoring sessions is also Yahshua. Take a look at the leader you are submitted to and ask yourself, “Am I submitted to glory?” Some clear signs are the character of Yahweh, fruit of the Spirit, powerful works (i.e., signs, wonders, miracles, and the ability to delegate authority).

1 AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity.

2 Now these are the names of the twelve apostles (special messengers): first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

3 Philip and Bartholomew [Nathaniel]; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus [Judas, not Iscariot];

4 Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

5 Jesus sent out these twelve, charging them, Go nowhere among the Gentiles and do not go into any town of the Samaritans;

Did Yahweh Lay His Hands on you?

16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

The Hebrew word for the bolded phrase in the above scripture is suwm (pronounced sum and is Strong’s 7760). This word means to make, make for, transform into, fashion, work, bring to pass, appoint, give, to set, ordain, and to establish. As ministers, we get so caught up in being ordained, established, and mentored by man, but miss the fact that there are still some folks Yahweh raises up, makes, transforms, and establishes all by Himself . . . by His Hands. Did He or someone else lay their hands on you? Neither of these is bad and is not greater than the other. There are some people who He personally delegates authority and power so they in turn can delegate and impart to others, like Moses in this passage of scripture. Then there are those men and women who He works through to lay hands, fashion, make, transform to His image like me, Apostle Paul and Yahshua. The important thing is that He’s laid or is laying His hands on you. Is He . . . has He?
