The Making Ministry Blog (2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP)

There have been so many things happening as I’ve pressed further in to the secret place in my prayer time. This is where I am finding myself:

37 As He was approaching [the city], at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to rejoice and to praise God [extolling Him exultantly and] loudly for all the mighty miracles and works of power that they had witnessed,

38 Crying, Blessed (celebrated with praises) is the King Who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven [freedom there from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin] and glory (majesty and splendor) in the highest [heaven]! – Luke 19:37-38 AMP

I’ve been extolling Him loudly; I’ve been crying; I’ve been brought to my knees to worship; I am overwhelmed by the glory and by the King of Glory. Whoever said, “quiet” is the only way missed this scripture and this one:

He replied, I tell you that if these keep silent, the very stones will cry out. – Luke 19:40 – AMP

I issue a spiritual dare to you:

* Increase time dwelling in the secret place

* Get specific about the stubborn things in your life, ministry, and the life of others. Allow Holy Spirit to direct you to the scriptures to stand in for those “hard” issues. Here’s one to start you off with: Alas, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too hard or too wonderful for You. – Jeremiah 32:17 KJV

* When you see Him beginning to move miraculously do a Luke 19:37-39, and I decree the glory of Elohim will overtake you and overwhelm you.

I am overwhelmed by glory!

Welcome back!  By now you know we should go beyond a “glow,” into a terrible brilliance.  So, today we explore what terrible and holy glory looks like on us.  My body is separated for your service LORD so I make glorious choices in determining what I eat (1 Corinthians 10:31).  My eyes are consecrated for your service, LORD so I watch what I set before them (Psalm 101:3).  My mind is made up and set apart for your service, LORD so I renew it daily with Your word (Psalm 26).  My heart is for You and Your service and I will connect it to those who have Your eternal life flowing from their heart (Proverbs 4:23).

I could go on and on as these are just some of the things He requires of me in each area of my temple.  How about you . . . what is He requiring of your body, eyes, mind, and heart?  This is what you must identify and get clear about in order to lay hold of the prize called holy glory.  If you aren’t specifically clear, it sounds like you’ve got a homework assignment, mentee.  One resource I know will jumpstart this is to pick up The Making if you haven’t already.  If you have, ask Him to lead you to the exact area that needs clarifying by directing you to the specific page(s) or chapter(s) in the book.  In closing, holy glory is terrible brilliance.

The Hebrew root of holy is q-d-h and is related to glory, separateness, purity, brightness, and terrible shining.  When I look at these words with my spiritual eyes, I see a progression of glory based on levels of holiness.  See, there is a shine or glow, if you will, that comes on you and over you as you cooperate with the sanctifying work of Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh).  It’s a beautiful; thing.  At the same time, why stop here when there is yet another level/dimension to lay hold of?  This dimension of which I speak and lay hold of is beyond a glow or a shine and is a terrible shining and brightness.  In case you aren’t aware, terrible is an adjective that is used to describe Elohim (God) and it means:  to tremble, be afraid, to cause to reverence, stupendous, wonderful, to hide, be afraid, godly, upright, to be feared, dreadful, admirable, wonderful, to put in fear, and to tremble for joy.  So a terrible shining causes one to reverence, fear, tremble, hide, dread, admire, and exclaim the stupendous wonder of those who are godly and upright.  Oh Prophetess Karen, how do I get there?  That’s a great question that we will explore tomorrow, mentee.

So all of us, with faces unveiled, see as in a mirror the glory of the Lord; and we are being changed into his very image, from one degree of glory to the next, by ADONAI the Spirit.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18 CJB

In yesterday’s post, I mentored you to take a look at the things you’ve haven’t obeyed to get clear about what’s stopping you from ascending into the glory.  We must come closer to His glory each and every day by coming closer to Him.  Our obedience is like a diving board or a springboard into the rivers of glory.  The more we obey, the deeper, higher, and wider we go in Him.  It’s time to ascend . . . daily.  We can go from glory to glory daily.  There is nothing stopping us except us!  It’s a conscious choice to allow Him to work both the will and the do in us.  Your obedience to God makes you unstoppable, impenetrable, and Satan proof.  No enemy can reach you when you live a life of one obedient act to the next.  The way the enemy trips us up, without even trying, is through our disobedience.  He knows the power of rebelling and disobeying firsthand.  He knows the road it leads us to, and therefore, he can put His feet upon the table, drink lemonade, and watch us like a good movie that He already knows the ending to.

On the other hand, when we consistently we obey, we release the power, glory, resources, and 100% complete backing of all of heaven and the heavenly hosts.  Now, what foe can withstand this?  No one foe can.  Isn’t that what the word tells us?  Stop thinking something outside of you is stopping you and start looking at how time and time again stop gaps are being set up in the realm of the spirit through your very own disobedience.  An obedient minister of God is a glorious minister of God.  Your steps of obedience are interconnected.  You see, when God tells you to do a thing it is connected to other things unfolding and manifesting in your life and ministry.  If you fail to take the first step of obedience, you miss out on all the steps that are connected to where God desires to bring you.  What I’m teaching you, mentee is that disobedience has a rippling effect and by the way so does disobedience.  I charge you and admonish you to obey and ascend.  Let’s pray:

Lord, thank you for making me 100% obedient 100% of the time through these posts on ascending that I may set the work you’ve assigned my hands on a path of ascending into your glory.  I am an obedient servant of the Most High Elohim (God).  It is through Yeshua’s name we pray.  Amen.

How many times do we talk about experiencing, seeing, and living in the glory?  Do you really believe He’ll wrap you the glory like a well-worn garment?  He will so that all nations, tribes, and tongues gather to worship and serve Him.  He longs to reveal Himself that all flesh may know that He is LORD.  The glory is going to cover the earth, and you are a part of it.  The glory has come.  Do you really believe?

Well if you do, you’ll see His glory, not because I say so, but because He says so.  Go here to hear it for yourself.

Yesterday, I challenged you to submit to the making process and learn to be still.  This is the rest you so desperately need in order to transition out of flesh-based living into proper spiritual alignment.  So, today I come with a declaration for you and your family.  Here it is:

I declare that the rest of your family, church, and ministry shall be glorious.  Yes, your rest in Jesus shall be glorious.  You will begin to carve out ample time to “be” with Him.  I declare your one hour of prayer will turn into two, then three, then four, and ultimately you’ll pray without ceasing in accordance with His word.  I thank Him that because of your willingness to “be still” He will show you great and marvelous things before you even finish calling on His name.  I speak manifestation of His nature, power, and character on every side and every single front.  I declare . . .

It never ceases to amaze me how those who are being “made” can’t sit still.  Their calendar is full with this that and the other.  Sadly, many of it is ministry related and they haven’t even been made into His image yet!  We must cooperate with the process of His making us into all He intends.  To do this requires we sit still and allow Him to hide us in the cleft of the Rock.  It requires us to come off this board, auxiliary, committee, and perhaps even decrease the number of nights we attend church.  Yes, I said it.  When you are being made, you are likened to a tender shoot and even a mild wind can blow you off the path.  This is why you find yourself hurt so much and offended by this and that.  You haven’t been made yet.  It’s time to be still and know He’s God and allow Him to mentor you.  Are you willing to submit to the process?  If so, then here’s the perfect prayer to pray:

Lord, hide me until the appointed time for it is Your glory to conceal a thing until the right moment (Proverbs 25:2).

Wait before you answer this question, I want you to think about where and how you spend your time.  This is the only way to answer this question.  We know Yeshua (Jesus) rebuke the Pharisees all the time for being quick to confidently answer the question He probed them with.  In other words, He knows how easy it is for us to be “religious by giving the answer we think He and others want to hear.”  With that being said, “You probably answered the question like this, “Jesus,” and you did so because you thought that was the expected answer.  Well, I will release the scripture now to show you the answer He requires, not expects:

Lord, I love the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells. – Psalm 26:8 AMP

Let’s pray:

ADONAI (Lord) deliver us from the spirit of religion and deliver us from lip service. We thank you for your deliverance and ask you to birth in us a love for Your house . . . the place where your glory dwells more than anything else.  We thank you that we will know that you have done this by our insatiable desire to spend more and more time where Your glory dwells.  We know this is not a “church building” of which you speak, but a habitation we have created for You in us.  Thank you, thank you for a pure love and pure appetite to spend our time where Your glory dwells.  Amen

My glory and honor are fresh in me [being constantly renewed], and my bow gains [ever] new strength in my hand. – Job 29:20 AMP

What is fresh glory and what does it look like?  You can recognize glory in, on, and upon you when the strength to offer up high praises in a way that the two-edged sword, which is your mouth executes vengeance on the heathen and punishment on the people.  This is radical praise; this isn’t the same ole stale hallelujah offered from week to week and month to month in the lives of many ministers.  No, this is the type of glorious praise that binds kings with chains and the so-called “noble” with fetters of iron and stops every plan, plot, and snare in advance.  This is fresh glory!  Fresh glory is victorious; it’s the type of glory that causes Elohim (God) to rebuke kings for your sake.  It’s the time of glory that turns the counsel of the ungodly to be of no effect.  You better get you some; some what?  Some fresh glory!  Go here (Psalm 33:10-11, Psalm 149:-6-9, and 1 Chronicles 16:21).

Are you seeing the glory every morning?  I am!  I look so forward to rising each and every day to see Him and hear what He wants to unveil and reveal to me.  I pray that you are receiving all the glory He desires to dispense daily by speaking less and listening more.  There are so many Christians who can’t quiet their thoughts, feelings, and dreams (e.g, their flesh) long enough to receive His mind, feelings, heart, and desire towards others situation and their own.  All the time they spend with ABBA is spent whining, complaining, and “a hoping and a wishing.”  There is a time for all this.  At the same time, this is should not be your modus operandi and the norm.   When is the last time you came into His presence and asked, “What do you want to talk about today?”  Even better when is the last time you just sat in His presence to simply “be” with Him, not talking or asking for anything?  How about this:  When is the last time you spent an entire 10 minutes focusing on who He re-created you to be (e.g., your position in Christ Yeshua)?  If you can’t recall, you are missing out on seeing and experiencing His glory in the morning.

I challenge you and I admonish you to get over yourself and your stuff so you can receive His riches (e.g., His stuff).  The purpose of this post is to cause you to really look at what you are calling “communion with Him.”  Priceless glory, splendor, majesty, and spiritual riches await you in the morning (Exodus 16:7). . .
