It’s not about titles, leaders. It’s about power!

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

I’d rather have secret place promotion any day than public empty promotion.  Yes, secret place promotion.  Said differently, promotion in prayer, elevation in who you pray for and what Yahweh reveals about them to you, and greater service via intercession.  This is the greatest promotion.  It’s greater than promotion in title only, but no power.  You can do exploits, stop rain, and other supernatural works in prayer.  Can your title do that?  Can your promotion do that?  Id’ rather have a ministry of powerful prayer versus a powerless ministry full of grandiose titles and worldly, materialistic trappings.  Today, I stand in my place of power and delegated authority and that place is prayer . . . a prayer room, on the lap and by the side of my Father.

Room (The below is that of which He speaks through me today.)
Strong’s 4725 (a condition of the body or mind, home, country, place, a standing spot, open locality, station, post, a region, a quarter, a direction, a place to exist . . . an abode, habitation)

O earth, cover not my blood, and let my cry have no resting-place [where it will cease being heard]. – Job 16:18

Thank you, Yahweh for this resting place of prayer you’ve given me and thank you that there will be no delay when I cry out in prayer.  My prayers come before you immediately.  There is no tarrying, no obstructions, and no delay in them reaching your throne room, and You answer and hear me straightaway.  My prayer for you is that through this post, ministry motives have been purified and that the heart of ministry has gripped you and caused your eyes to be wide opened to what’s really important and where the true power lies in ministry.

Go to your room, mentee!  Yes, today momma is sending you to your room.  It’s for your making, transformation, and for those who are assigned your hands.  They need you to habitate, linger, and stay in your room.

Resting in glory,

Karen sig-the making

Provoking & Defying Glory – Part II

Monday, August 16th, 2010

Yesterday we laid the foundation of this lesson by exposing the deeds and actions of professing ministers who deceive themselves and others into believing Yahweh’s glory is with them.  The Isaiah passage of scripture tells us that the righteous will eat the fruit of their deeds. The glorious fruit of the righteous can be eaten in its entirety.  They become a habitation of His glory.  The food and the fruit they dispense fulfill the spiritual hunger of those who are hungering and thirsting after glorious manifestations and results.

The Lord stands up to contend, and stands to judge the peoples and His people. – Isaiah 3:13 AMP

The day where your actions and speech are being judged is here and woe to the wicked for what their hands and mouth have done.  Woe to the proud and arrogant who have flaunted their sins before Yahweh’s eyes and provoked His glory.  He is standing at attention and every leader that is causing others to err and tripping them up on this path shall behold His glory, but not in the way they tout.  For He has entered into glorious judgment with them.  Let’s not ever forget the judgment attribute of His glory.

10 Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with them, for what their hands have done shall be done to them. – Isaiah 3:10-11 AMP

With fresh glory on me,

Manifesting glory

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Signs, wonders, miracles

Two times this week alone I’ve encountered several ministers of the gospel who were articulating how they know there is more than what they have been experiencing.  In prayer Yahweh, responded by saying, “It’s building can you sense it?  Can you hear through others who are tired of same ole same ole and who are articulating their hunger for My power, My glory to manifest through them?  He’s aligning His glorious army.  He’s making them ready.  We are starting to groan right along with the rest of creation.  ABBA is saying, Yes!  This is where I long for you be and stay.  Can you hear the groaning and the hunger pangs?  The manifestation of His glory is near . . . on a larger scale, not just a small group of one here or there, but as an entire body of ready-made vessels.  Because not everyone that’s groaning and hungering is going to see His glory manifested through them.  They might see it (and it’s going to be undeniably hard not to), but it won’t be through them.  Are you one in this glorious ready-made army?”

We know that until now, the whole creation has been groaning as with the pains of childbirth
; – Romans 8:22 CJB

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. – Mark 16:17-18 KJV

Secure Glory

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Elohim (God) is so secure in who He is that He is allowing Satan to do what he does (steal, kill, and destroy) until His appointed time to live eternally in the lake of fire.  In this we see and identify another making mark for us, and the mark is security.  Here is how He worked this facet of His glory in me.

As you know, I’m His prophet and He tells me to do and say things to others.  He prompts me to pray for others and He leads me to write prayers and send them to others.  Well, I’m sure you can imagine that everybody isn’t jumping up and down, grateful, or receptive to the things He has me share.  For a season, this caused me to really doubt I was hearing from Him, and Satan played with me mentally by contesting the words of God flowing through me.  He did this for many years, and finally God did a couple of things with and through me that brought me great freedom and security.  The first is that what He said came to pass swiftly.  This reassured me, “Yes, Karen you heard Me and now you see Me!”  The second is through this my faith began to increase and my relationship with Him deepened.  Third as our relationship deepened, the concern for others receptivity (i.e., I receive that or I don’t receive this), acknowledgment of the word, and even a response that they received the word (e.g., the word physically or electronically reached them) began to dissipate.  He began to minister to me about how He healed 10 lepers and only one came back grateful, receptive, and appreciative.  So if this is true of Yeshua, who is always our example, then it will be true of me.

Over time I began to see and experience secure glory in me.  Knowing that He is pleased with my obedience and responds to it became more important than man’s response or lack thereof.  Has the mark of secure glory been formed in your as it was in Yeshua and me?  It can . . . let’s pray.

Elohim (God) bring me to the place that I’m 100% free from man’s response no matter how they respond (e.g., positively, negatively, neutrally, or at all).  Increase my relationship with You so much so that I can feel, discern, and revel in how pleased you are by my unmovable faith and obedience. Set me free and birth security in me.

For those who have come into a measure of secure glory, I pray He will increase your steadfastness and devotion to Him, and as He does so, I pray that you find yourself in the next level of secure glory that you need at this time in your life and ministry.  He’s doing it now . . . secure glory, secure glory is the portion of those who have been set free and advanced today through the ministry of this post.

I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
– Psalm 91:2 AMP

Where’s my Inheritance?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, “Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.”– Numbers 18:20 KJV

ADONAI said to Aharon, “You are not to have any inheritance or portion in their land; I am your portion and inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” – Numbers 18:20 CJB

If you’re allowing Holy Spirit to mentor you via this blog, you know the pursuit of glory is about manifesting God’s character in every area of your life (i.e., ministry, business home, job, etc.)  This is a process which The Making outlines in greater detail.  You don’t get here overnight.  Many of us start out believing in our inheritance as it relates to the glory and midway through the perfecting part, we start getting anxious.  We start thinking or asking, “Where’s my inheritance?”  We start looking for prophecies relating to our glorious inheritance to come to pass.  I’m here today to tell you what God told me the holdup is.  When you are mature, your inheritance will be released.  When you are ready (e.g., fully mature) with Christ fully formed, developed, and  seen, He’ll release the intended glory, miracles, signs, wonders, etc.

If a natural parent does not give their children access to their inheritance until the right age, what makes us think God is going to release ours any soon than the fullness of time?  Keep your focus on the perfecting process and before you know it, your inheritance will manifest!

From glory to glory,

Karen sig-the making

The enemy of the glory

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.] – Romans 7:18 AMP

For I know that there is nothing good housed inside me – that is, inside my old nature. I can want what is good, but I can’t do it! – Romans 7:18 CJB

You are your biggest enemy to living in the glory of God.  The scripture tells us there is no good thing in our flesh and yet another familiar scripture also tells us that the flesh is at enmity with the Spirit.  So then why do we pacify and give in to its every whim? You must view your flesh as your enemy.  It isn’t interested in you following Holy Spirit. Is isn’t interested in you demonstrating God’s character, love, or power, and it will attempt to stop you or keep you stuck time and time again.  It is the #1 enemy of the glory!

Responding to His glory,

Karen sig-the making

What sin is dwelling in you? – Part II

Monday, May 31st, 2010

7 Therefore, what are we to say? That the Torah is sinful? Heaven forbid! Rather, the function of the Torah was that without it, I would not have known what sin is. For example, I would not have become conscious of what greed is if the Torah had not said, “Thou shalt not covet.”

8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of evil desires – for apart from Torah, sin is dead.

9 I was once alive outside the framework of Torah. But when the commandment really encountered me, sin sprang to life,

10 and I died. The commandment that was intended to bring me life was found to be bringing me death!

11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me; and through the commandment, sin killed me.

12 So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just and good.

13 Then did something good become for me the source of death? Heaven forbid! Rather, it was sin working death in me through something good, so that sin might be clearly exposed as sin, so that sin through the commandment might come to be experienced as sinful beyond measure.

14 For we know that the Torah is of the Spirit; but as for me, I am bound to the old nature, sold to sin as a slave.

15 I don’t understand my own behavior – I don’t do what I want to do; instead, I do the very thing I hate!

16 Now if I am doing what I don’t want to do, I am agreeing that the Torah is good.

17 But now it is no longer “the real me” doing it, but the sin housed inside me.

18 For I know that there is nothing good housed inside me – that is, inside my old nature. I can want what is good, but I can’t do it!

19 For I don’t do the good I want; instead, the evil that I don’t want is what I do!

20 But if I am doing what “the real me” doesn’t want, it is no longer “the real me” doing it but the sin housed inside me.

21 So I find it to be the rule, a kind of perverse “torah,” that although I want to do what is good, evil is right there with me!

22 For in my inner self I completely agree with God’s Torah;

23 but in my various parts, I see a different “torah,” one that battles with the Torah in my mind and makes me a prisoner of sin’s “torah,” which is operating in my various parts.

24 What a miserable creature I am! Who will rescue me from this body bound for death?

25 Thanks be to God [, he will]! – through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord! To sum up: with my mind, I am a slave of God’s Torah; but with my old nature, I am a slave of sin’s “Torah.” – Romans 7:7-25 CJB

Today, I want you to know you are hurting yourself by allowing sin to dwell in you.  How can sin and Christ dwell in you simultaneously?  God forbid . . . it will never happen.  I, like Paul, didn’t come to condemn you. I came to shake up your leadership senses and cause you to wake up to the fact that your asking, seeking, knocking, hoping, believing, and praying for the glory of God while sins has made its home in you is fruitless.  “Well, no one is perfect”, you say.  He says, “Be ye perfect for I am perfect.”  He is the perfect One who leads, teaches, convicts, gently guides, and reproves in and by His word to be perfect.  Be ye holy for I am holy.  What sin is dwelling in you that you keep making excuses for and justifying by picking out certain scriptures?  Release it today that you may go from the glory to the glory He has laid up for you, beloved.

The real you (hidden in Christ) is waiting.  Stop listening to the instructions of your mind, will, and emotions.  Yeshua (Jesus) has already rescued us and called us to be His servant  . . . a servant of the instruction of His Spirit. What sin are you housing that’s stopping Him?

Responding to His glory,

Karen sig-the making

Is He Really the Lover of Your Soul?

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

In prayer today I began expressing to Elohim (God) that He is the only lover for me.  As I began to say, “You are the lover of my soul!”  He had me pause and ponder that phrase.  If my soul is full of Galatians 5:15-21, is He the lover of my soul?  I don’t think so.  He does not love sin.  He does not love the works of the flesh.  He loves our soul only when it is totally surrendered to Him.  In order for us to bellow out the phrase, “lover of my soul,” we need to examine not only what’s in our soul, but the position and alignment of our soul.  You see, our soul is designed to be mastered.  It is to be trained, beat, and whipped into proper alignment and that alignment is under the subjection of Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit).  When your soul is in the background and His Spirit and evidence of Him working through (e.g., His fruit) then you can say, “He loves my soul!” Let’s not forget what our soul is comprised of.

The only way He loves our emotions, will, and thoughts is if those emotions and thoughts are what He feels and thinks.  As it relates to our will, He loves a submitted and surrendered will, not a stubborn will.  Do people often refer to you as “strong willed?”  Is that strong will strong about what He wills or what you want, feel, and will?  The answers to these questions reveal whether or not He loves your soul.  Can you truly, honestly say, “He’s the lover of my soul” today?  I can and will while simultaneously acknowledging areas I must continue to surrender and submit to daily.  We must die to what we want, feel, and think.  We must lose our life to find it deeply embedded in Him. A dead soul is a loved soul! He is the lover of my dead soul.  He loves the areas in my soul I’ve surrendered, submitted to His lordship and brought into proper alignment by His Spirit.  Oh, yes He does!

Broken by glory,

Why I do it!

Monday, May 10th, 2010

Why do I persevere through it all? For the sake of those who have been chosen, so that they too may obtain the deliverance that comes through the Messiah Yeshua, with eternal glory. – 2 Timothy 2:10 CJB

There are many challenges, trials, tests, and sufferings that come with being a ministry leader.  Sometimes you may find yourself asking the question, “Why do I do it?”  Honestly, I can’t even begin to share how difficult it’s been for us in ministry.  I’ve learned to persevere.  But not just for the sake of persevering.  The beginning of 2 Timothy 2 teaches me how to persevere.  It says:

  • Be empowered by the grace that comes from Yeshua Messiah
  • Commit to the things those faithful witnesses of Christ have shared with you about ministry
  • Accept your share of suffering and disgrace as a good solider of Messiah Yeshua
  • Stay away from civilian affairs and please only ABBA, Father
  • Know that those who do the hard work of a farmer will be the first to reap the harvest
  • Remember Yeshua suffered so we can proclaim this Good News

And the part of this verse that has gripped me today is I do it for those like you who He’s chosen so that you may obtain full deliverance through Messiah Yeshua for the ultimate glory . . . the eternal glory.  This is why I do all I do and continue to forge ahead doing all He’s called, equipped, and broken me to do.  I do it for eternal glory.  So, why do you do it . . . why do you minister?

Broken by His glory,

Karen sig-the making
