For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.] – Romans 7:18 AMP
For I know that there is nothing good housed inside me – that is, inside my old nature. I can want what is good, but I can’t do it! – Romans 7:18 CJB
You are your biggest enemy to living in the glory of God. The scripture tells us there is no good thing in our flesh and yet another familiar scripture also tells us that the flesh is at enmity with the Spirit. So then why do we pacify and give in to its every whim? You must view your flesh as your enemy. It isn’t interested in you following Holy Spirit. Is isn’t interested in you demonstrating God’s character, love, or power, and it will attempt to stop you or keep you stuck time and time again. It is the #1 enemy of the glory!
Have you ever heard, said, or thought, “I’m anointed all by myself.” We are talking glory here, not anointing! No one is a complete and entire manifestation of His glory by themselves. Some aren’t familiar with the prophetic team ministry concept. When prophetic teams work together in a presbytery or in a service, one team member will bring forth what Yahweh is saying to the corporate body or to a particular individual. Well, that team member prophesied in part, but then Yahweh will speak to another team member and that member will come forth and prophesy in part. By the time the entire team has ministered prophetically to the congregation (e.g., the corporate body) or the individual, you’ll see one message from the Father that was building through each vessel He spoke through.
It reminds me of this scripture:
9 For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).
10 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). - 1 Corinthians 13:9-10
The total team is a manifestation of the complete and perfect Word, message, and will of God. This is why haSatan (Satan) tries to destroy unity in the body, working together, and team ministry. Look at what happens in choirs. I know, I know, we’ve been told it’s because Lucifer was the minister of music in heaven and now he’s jealous of the fact that we still have the opportunity to worship Elohim (Ezekiel 28). Hmm . . . could it be he wants to stop the choir from coming forth worshiping in unity until one sound, one voice, and one prophetic message of the Father comes forth. Yes, it is so. Read 2 Chronicles 5:13-14. Okay, that’s for the worshipers. Now let’s go back . . .
If you’ve read the above-referenced scripture, you found out that when we go forth as a team the glory manifests.
So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God. – 1 Corinthians 10:31 AMP
Yesterday, we discussed the fact that our phone conversations should bring Yahweh (God) glory, but the only way they will is if we set the tone spiritually and mentally. In fact, you need to have a certain type of posture that you bring to each conversation and here is where glory conversations come into play. Your conversations are glorious when they focus on the nature, power, and character of God. In other words, your conversation should be filled sharing all the miracles God is doing in you and through you and for others. The conversation should hone in on glorifying His words and name. This is the posture you need to bring to your calls. Have you considered sharing in His majestic splendor and reflecting on that on your calls? This is glorious conversation!
So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God. – 1 Corinthians 10:31 AMP
I have an awesome sister I’m in covenant relationship with who answers her phone, “to YAH (short for Yahweh) be the glory.” When she answers the phone this way, it sets the tone for the rest of the conversation. What she is really saying is, “Let everything that is said, done, and discussed be for Yahweh’s (God’s) glory.” What do you need to pray or say (audibly or inaudibly) before your phone conversations to ensure it is a glorious conversation?
מיהו המלך של גלורי? לורד של Hosts הוא המלך של גלורי.
The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. – Psalm 24:10 KJV
Yahweh controls how, who, and when the glory is dispensed. The King of Glory is a person. Who is He? Yahweh, which is His personal holy name, The Existent One. This reveals to us that He wants us to be personal with His glory. He wants us to know His glory personally. I can prove it. He sent us His Son – His King of Glory who has the same desire as His Father (to intimately and personally acquaint us with Himself, and then His son Yahushua gave us the Ruach haKodesh. The Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) aim is to cause us to know the mind and will of the Father also.
There are so many ministers hungry for glory, respect, worship, dignity, and reverence. The sad thing about this is the King of Glory has already given those things to those who have and maintain clean hands and a pure heart.
Come back and read part II tomorrow and discover God’s heart and mind in order to manifest His glory to you.
