Counterfeit Glory & Satan’s Church – Part II
We are still setting the glory record straight by exposing counterfeit vessels and glory. Here we go.
A counterfeit manifestation of glory is comprised of two things:
- The manifested act contains no permanency.
- The ministerial leader who is being used to carry out the miracle, healing, sign, or wonder doesn’t reflect God’s character or nature. Even though the miracle or healing is potent and lasting, the vessel without God’s character or nature is a false vessel; thereby, rendering the act counterfeit and not the real thing inspired by the spirit of God.
I mentioned this before, but it’s sure worth repeating. Miracles, signs, wonders, and healings can be imitated and duplicated, but true character can’t.
Let’s define Satan’s church.
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. – Revelation 3:8-10 KJV
We see that there were some who were saying they were Jews and were not. They were lying, and God said, “He would make them to be identified as from the synagogue of Satan. The Jews are God’s chosen people, His wife. So, when we say (either through our actions or verbally) that we are God’s true chosen vessels and we don’t keep His word (i.e., a true doer of the word, not a hearer only), we lie and associate ourselves with the synagogue of Satan. What I love about this passage of scripture is that for those who are holding fast to their confession, a reward is coming. Those who are masquerading as God’s chosen will come and worship before our feet and come into the realization that He loves us. Why will they come and worship at our feet? Because they will see the real, true, and genuine power and character of God coming forth from His made vessels.
There has never been one occasion in the bible when the true encountered the false vessels and God’s power failed or fell short. Trace it through the bible when Moses threw down his rod and it turned into a snake that devoured the magicians and witches of his day. Shoot on down to Elijah’s offering went down thoroughly while the idolaters called on their false God to no avail. Elijah’s offering burnt with the fire of God after being wet thoroughly with water. I’ll stop here, as I know you get the picture and they’re many more of such occurrences in the word of God.
Another way to identify a true vessel is by these characteristics: they guard the gospel message and His word, they don’t deny His name through their lifestyles, and they endure testing with faith and patience. These are the works He said He knew about them in the above passage of scripture.
Note: I want to be sure to in no way indicate that I’m referring to the Jews/Israel or the places Jews worship in this post. When I explored the Hebrew root word for synagogue, I found it to be a synonym which is also used in the new covenant (New Testament) meaning assembly, congregation, any gathering of people for the purposes of worship and reading God’s word. Research afforded me the knowledge that even trials were used for inflicting punishment in the old covenant (Old Testament). That being said, the word synagogue is a generic word that can refer to the heathen, Jews, or Christians. The emphasis God wants to make through me in this post is on false vessels proclaiming to be true vessels. This post is not aimed or targeted at God’s chosen people, the Jews. We love Israel and the Jewish people and pray for them as the word of God commands.
