Glorious, Eternal Treasures

Because so many professing Christian leaders don’t have a clue about the eternal, glorious treasures stored up for us, they bow to Baal, mammon, run after wicked kings’ dainties, and pursue the world’s riches. That being said, I’m led to share this scripture with you today.

He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge, and fear of ADONAI, which is his treasure. – Isaiah 33:6 CJB

There will be times of security for you—a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure. – Isaiah 33:6 HCSB

When we have fully surrendered our way, will, and success or lack thereof to Yahweh, some (just SOME!) of our treasures are security, safety, the fear of Yahweh, and a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. To explore more treasures of the righteous, go here.

Introducing the TO BE List

Beloved,

As you know I’ve known to create a things to do after I pray list. Well as is my custom, I created such a list today right after prayer and Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) quickened a new list within me. Let me introduce you to the TO BE list. Here’s my TO Be List for today:

>>-Prayerful at all times

>>-Filled with grace, truth, wisdom, creativity, love, and joy filled communion with Yahweh and others

>>-Sure to eat only when I’m hungry and stop eating as soon as the hunger subsides, not when I’m full

>>-A daughter of Yahweh

We, as leaders, are far too busy. We must begin implementing strategies that return our souls back to rest, and this last bullet is what does it for me. As I BE His daughter, everything falls into place and I declare it takes care of itself. My prayer is that you’ll add this new list He’s allowed me to introduce to you to your arsenal of spiritual weapons. I know it will prove invaluable if you’re faithful to allow Him to create it through you. It’s time to BE busy on purpose; create your list, beloved . . . it’s empty!

Where are the fragments?

AFTER THIS, Jesus went to the farther side of the Sea of Galilee–that is, the Sea of Tiberias.

2 And a great crowd was following Him because they had seen the signs (miracles) which He [continually] performed upon those who were sick.

3 And Jesus walked up the mountainside and sat down there with His disciples.

4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was approaching.

5 Jesus looked up then, and seeing that a vast multitude was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, Where are we to buy bread, so that all these people may eat?

6 But He said this to prove (test) him, for He well knew what He was about to do.

7 Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennies’ (forty dollars) worth of bread is not enough that everyone may receive even a little.

8 Another of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him,

9 There is a little boy here, who has [with him] five barley loaves, and two small fish; but what are they among so many people?

10 Jesus said, Make all the people recline (sit down). Now the ground (a pasture) was covered with thick grass at the spot, so the men threw themselves down, about 5,000 in number.

11 Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples and the disciples to the reclining people; so also [He did] with the fish, as much as they wanted.

12 When they had all had enough, He said to His disciples, Gather up now the fragments (the broken pieces that are left over), so that nothing may be lost and wasted. – John 6:1-12 AMP

“It’s better to waste what’s leftover on your plate then for it to end up on your waist.” – Bronner Brothers

As children, we’ve been trained to eat everything set before us and everything on our plate. Now as adults, we must clean our plates in order to be satisfied. This causes us to eat until we’re bursting out of our clothes. Actually, we’re not eating, we are overeating. Beloved, we can live healthily on far less than we consume.

In this passage, Yahushua taught us to collect miracles’ leftovers and don’t waste anything miraculous that He does. The fragments, that which remains, become a sign of the miracle for others. The revelation received from this is that what we leave on our plates becomes a sign that His power is working through us granting us access to the fruit of self-control. What a powerful sign the waste/fragments become of His miracle working power in us filling us up to the fullest according to Ephesians 3:19.

Where are the fragments?

Many of us can’t even and aren’t even hearing Yahweh’s voice about food, what to eat, and how much to eat because we’re desensitized to it. We’ve been so used to eating on autopilot (i.e., we’re starving so we stuff ourselves until we’re full). Beloved, that’s what our flesh wants and tells us and this is what we do. What is Yahweh telling us? It’s time to silence the voice of flesh (that so many mistake for Yahweh in the area of food and awaken to His voice in this area. You silence the voice of flesh by depriving it via fasting and praying. Fasting denies flesh and makes it obey Yahweh. Praying in this manner positions you to hear His, and only His, instructions concerning your health and food. Have you ever been on a fast to break the strongholds that keep you unhealthy? Now that something to fast about!

If you’re wondering how your flesh speaks, look at your body. What’s your flesh saying . . . “I’m (i.e., self) in control or Yahweh’s in control?” See, flesh tempts us with what’s not good for us. It says, “Go ahead have that baked potato with butter and sour cream; you deserve it; you work hard, treat yourself to that Ice cream, cake, donut, coffee, etc.” I fell prey and caved into this voice for years, and then when I stopped obeying it and being its slave, it tried to subtlety use the voice of Yahweh, that I know so intimately, to tempt me. It would use the “loving approach.” You can have it, Karen. See flesh knows that my heavenly Father has and will give me anything, and that the subtlety it used. The truth is, He give me what’s good (Psalm 84:11)! At the same time, what the flesh is offering is not good. What’s its offer? The flesh, in control of you, offers long term weight, obesity, and sickness and disease due to being overweight. What is its lure and/or seduction? Pleasure! Remember, flesh is an enemy of the Spirit of Yahweh. Technically, it’s our enemy, and we must see it as so by hearing Paul:

“There is no good thing in our flesh.” – (Romans 7:18).

Your temple

Today, Yahweh led me to visit the website of one our previous coach training clients who is doing some pretty awesome work in the area of Christian health. It’s no secret that many leaders in the body of Christ struggle with unhealthy eating habits and attitudes about food and their temple.

Healthy Freedom is your portion, beloved.

While on the site, I found a f^ree e-book Yahweh graced her to write. I want to share something that she said that literally jumped off the page into my spirit man. She said, “People that are truly healthy emotionally can always say no to food that is unhealthy for them, they can always say no if they’ve put on a few pounds and know they want to lose those pounds, and they live with a sense of self-control around food.”

Umph . . . isn’t that powerful? Did it hit you like it impacted me? Do you possess the self-control that only His Spirit fills? We glorify Him by possessing holy temples that are free from focusing on food all the time.

“Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?” – Matthew 6:25 AMP

“[After all] the kingdom of God is not a matter of [getting the] food and drink [one likes], but instead it is righteousness (that state which makes a person acceptable to God) and [heart] peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 14:17 AMP

Are you kidding me?

What . . . not again?

You may or may not know I’m a consultant for the local government in my hometown. As a matter of fact in a recent video, I testified about being re-awarded the contract with a huge increase. Well, as you might have suspected, there’s a huge responsibility that comes with such increase. The person responsible for the vision of the department that I report into shared with me day one the desire to see the role grow into be more entrepreneurial. I remained silent at the time due to past experience with the philosophy and culture of management.

Fast forwarding to the present, Yahweh’s been orchestrating some things to birth today’s lesson for you. You see, almost immediately after sharing the new entrepreneurial vision with me, that I began to operate in by the way, everything I touched had the brakes pulled on it!

The internal players’ pride manifested and they went to management and told them they weren’t going to and shouldn’t have to take order from a “consultant.” Management, in turn, approaches me with a new laundry list of: This needs to go through me, that needs to go through here, and carbon copy me on this, that, and the other thing. I nodded in agreement and replied, “Will do, and I must point out that many in this organization need to grow up!” Yes, He (Yahweh) released me to say it; so I did.

Management agreed wholeheartedly and then proceeded to make excuses for their colleagues. A couple of weeks go by and I’m approached with another “take this, lead it, and run with it” task. Okay, I’m off. I’m on it. Mid-stream into the task, management takes over. Okay, I think, pray, and watch it all unfold. I could hear Yahweh saying, relax, listen, and go with it. Two to three weeks go by and the exact same thing takes place. I said to myself, “Are you kidding me?” Okay, now I’m really praying, and Yahweh gives me this to say:

“Although you’d like me to be entrepreneurial, the reality is that’s not possible in our current environment given the management philosophy. So, I’m sharing this so what’s running under the table is out on the table and acknowledged. Also, what this means for me is that most to all of what I perceive , based on my entrepreneurial mindset, would take 5-30 minutes to complete turns into hours and in some instances days worth of work. It is what it is; let’s just call it what it is.”

If you’re like most, you’re wondering how management replied. For now, I’ll just say hold on it’s coming. Your first lesson is, just because you hold a position of empowerment, it doesn’t mean you’re actually fully empowered. Beloved, I’ve said it before and it still holds as He leads me to repeat it, there’s a lot of fear in the workplace amongst managers, and many of them breed risk aversion. If you’re like most, you’ve had a “Are you kidding me?” moment or two.

Well, back to our conversation to leave you with this glorious hope. Management’s reply to what Yahweh gave me to say, in essence was, “We’ve got to change and we get to be the standard, Karen!” YES . . .

Your second lesson is, you must pray for everyone in your direct working sphere. Anyone who touches a project you’re working on immediately goes on your prayer list right at the onset of the project. If you’ll pray faithfully, Yahweh will grant the favor to speak truth seasoned with wisdom and grace to impact change. If you take me up on this prayer challenge, I’d love to hear the results. It’s time to stop shaking our heads and saying, “Are you kidding me?” and become the light showing them way; be the Standard!

What’s This?

Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. - 1 Timothy 4:13

No, unfortunately, it’s not manna or any supernatural thing or miracle of which He asks the question of today’s post through me. He’s asking us, “What’s this?” in light of the fact that many leaders have totally neglected and failed to reverence the admonition in this passage of scripture. That’s right; when is the last time you attended a gathering and “heard” the word? If you’re attending most services, conferences, and mid to large size gatherings, you’ll most likely find a scripture or two up on a screen for you to read silently to yourself as the presentation software presents a “lifeless broadcaster’s voice” reciting scripture.

What’s the big deal, Prophetess Karen you ask? Every passage of scripture has been written in love to correct, guide, and profit, rebuke, and teach us. That being said, Paul provided Timothy a key to the power of preaching and teaching the gospel, and that key is to read scripture publicly. Let’s move beyond the flash, showmanship, and techno-age back to reading copious portions of scripture that provoke us to prophetically teach and preach His word with glory (power, His character, and nature).

Overthrow Them

Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him. – Psalm 140:11 KJV

This is the scripture I’m standing in for the body this year. You see, there are far too many wicked speakers, ministers, and five-fold leaders out there, and it’s time proactively war with this word. I’m declaring and praying this according to His word, “Yahweh, let not another evil, wicked speaker, minister, or five-fold leader be established in 2012. Let their feet become stuck to the ground on which they dwell. Holy Spirit let not any progress be made by their efforts save they be the effort of Your doing. By His Spirit, I pray and decree. Amen.”

My prayer is that you’ll join me. There is far too much foolishness, wickedness, and evil being established in the name of the gospel of Yahushua (Jesus).
