Make it Known!

They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power, To make known to the sons of men God’s mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of His kingdom. – Psalm 145:11-12 AMP

So many ministers seek, crave, and desperately pray for the glory of God. There is nothing wrong with this in and of itself if we look at it superficially, but a deeper look reveals a huge flaw, imperfection, and some gross error. You see His Kingdom is glorious and powerful and His mighty acts are taking place. As I often say and I repeat it today, the glory of God does not require us to go on a “hunt” for it as if it is lost! We simply need to recall, recount, and remember all the mighty deeds of our All Powerful God. You can do this in two ways. First, look to the word, which is filled with the knowledge of His glory. Second, look at your own life. If your walk has been anything like most called to the ministry, He has and continues to do things that reveal the majesty of His kingdom.

What’s lacking then? What is lacking is us making it known! Are you speaking of the glory of the kingdom of God? Are you talking about His powerful demonstrations? Are you making sons aware of His mighty deeds and His glorious kingdom majesty? Our patriarch fathers of the faith did. How different would it be if the Apostle Paul didn’t recall, record, and recount all the mighty glorious works of the kingdom for us throughout the renewed covenant? It’s time to make it known! Don’t hold back, and don’t rob others of seeing His majesty through our lives and ministries. If you are saying, “Prophetess Karen, I don’t have any mighty deeds to speak of.” I say, “Stop minimizing His majesty and power.” In The Making, I expose one of the biggest deceptions and lies we hold on to and it is this: We discount and are ungrateful for what we “perceive” to be the smaller manifestations of His glory. If you can’t or won’t embrace, speak of, and proclaim the “smaller manifestations” (e.g., baptism in tongues, speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, etc.), then why would God make known any “greater manifestations” (e.g., someone who is raised from the dead)? The command in this scripture is to speak, talk, and make it known, not to qualify what we think or believe we should make known. My prayer is that you are convicted to cast off and dismantle this mental stronghold and step into the freedom that comes to you and others to make known the mighty deeds of the Kingdom of God!

By the way, if you’d like to read about more glory misperception and deception, pick up a copy of The Making now.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Karen sig-the making
