Show Forth God’s Glory
And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. – Exodus 24:16-17 KJV
I didn’t want to assume I knew what the glory of God is. We all have perceptions, misperceptions, and some deception around the glory of God and truly, it is an inexhaustible topic. So, I figured who better to ask what the glory is but the glory Himself.
Here are some ways He told me He manifests His glory: Before I share them, I want to emphasize, they are some of the ways, not all. They are:
- Prophecy
- Holy Spirit-led Writing [scribal anointing, music, plays, art]
- Visions
- Tongues
- Angelic visitations
- Fire
- Divine appearances of the Godhead
- Removing sinful, wicked, rebellious, unbelieving, unhungry, professing Christians from around you
- Signs of confirmation
My prayer is that sharing God’s mind on this brings us to the place where we realize He is manifesting His glory in our midst. How many times do we take this for granted and/or even mistake these manifestations for something else? The next time God manifests His glory through you or someone you know in one of these ways, demonstrate your gratefulness by saying, Lord, I thank you for revealing your glory to me by ________________ (fill in the blank with how He manifested Himself).
Why am I challenging you to do this? Because I believe when we begin to reverence even what we may perceive as the “smaller aspects of His glory” or the things we’ve grown so accustomed to and take for granted, He will begin to release even the greater glory to us.
Now, when God starts manifesting greater glory we have to stay grounded. Tomorrow, we will explore how to do exactly that. If you want to explore glory manifestations in greater detail, pick up a copy ofThe Making.
Resting gloriously in Him,

I was talking with someone on yesterday about this teaching. I love this! It gives me practical application for the Glory… and doesn't make it seem so far away and unreachable. Thank you for this. I just can't get enough of this teaching, and I pray that it reaches the ends of the earth…
Thank you Prophetess Theresa for reading, replying, and for the prayer! I'm honored to be able to mentor and lead God's true sent leaders into His glory.
Genuinely,
Prophetess Karen M. Pina
Michaela,
You asked, "How do I break the "little things permanently?" This is a great question. The answer is found in your very own post. It's a process, and this is what The Making is all about . . . going through the process, passing through the dark areas of our soul, partnering with Holy Spirit and allowing Him to mold, shape, and make us into glorious vessels. So much so that the light of His glory within us outshines the darkness.
What I would say to you right now is that you are in a great place of awareness, coupled with a desire to break free. I encourage you to continue to yield to the work of Holy Spirit in the process. He has brought you exactly where you need to be in order to be set free, and now all you need to do is yield.
Lovingly,
Prophetess Karen
My desire is for God’s Glory to be truly manifested in every area of my life. This journey started out long time ago. There are times I thought I was ready for His glory only to realize I really had not prepared myself to carry or maintain the Glory. The more I know the more I need to know Him; there are many variables in my life . . . the one constant is Jesus and at the end of it all I just need Him.
After reading this post, I began to realize how I take the manifestations of the glory of God for granted.
I definitely want deeper and greater manifestations of God’s glory in my life, but I really want for the areas of my life that are “out of wack” to be brought into subjection to His word. This process is easier said than done.
I am in a place with God, where He has been showing His Glory in so many areas of my life – and the light of His glory has been revealing the bad areas. I call it bad, because they are not like Him or His ways. And I know a lot of people like to put an emphasis on the “BIG SINS”, but those aren’t my issue it’s the “Little ones” which in my opinion are just as big, because those have lasting damage i.e. procrastination, poor financial management, poor time management, honesty, etc.
God shows me His glory in lots of ways, and is constantly doing really big things for me, even the small things are big things. My dilemma is how do i break the “little” things permanently – they seem to go away, but then come back. LOL
Kingdom greetings Marti,
Thank you for joining in the making mentoring that is taking place on the blog. I do appreciate your taking time to read and reply. I celebrate the desire you have for the glory of God to be infused into every area of your life. With that being said, I'm going to challenge your thinking a little bit here so that He can shine in this area. I believe I have your permission to do so as you have expressed your desire for His glory to be manifested in every area of your life.
You wrote, " . . . at the end of it all I just need Him." I have heard this statement so many times. At the same time, true believers are part of His body. The bible tells us this body is jointed together and that each joint supplies something that the other joint needs. It's just like your own body. You can't say (about your body) there are so many physical and emotional changes going on in my body right now, and at the end of all these changes and variables all I need is my big toe. How funny is this, right? I'm bringing in some humor here to illustrate this is how we sound to Father God, Son, and Holy Spirit about His body. We do need each other, and that is how He designed it. The key is connecting to the glorious connections He has for us. For there are many hanging around and loitering in the body who profess to be a part of the body, but in reality their actions reveal to all of us they are not a part of His true body.
So, I need you in order to have someone to mentor and you need me in order to be mentored in seeing God's glory manifested in every area of your life. You are a part of my body, Marti. We belong to one another, and I'm not ashamed, afraid, or too haughty to say I need you. I say it for all the leaders in the body who never told you they need you. They do, and I ask God to forgive them for not telling you they need you as a part of Christ's body. I pray this has caused a shift (i.e. repentance, defined as having changed our minds and thoughts so they align with His).
I close with these scriptures that I believe beautifully convey the heart of God:
And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. – Colossians 2:19
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. – Romans 12:3-5
Sometimes, the glory that G-d manifests to us comes not in small things that we may take for granted, but even in ways that are painful or even frightening. Still, it is important to thank Him for allowing these experiences. I also want to thank you for bringing this to mind. One thing I have learned by being mentored is that the glory of G-d is His, and it is not always a beautiful, pleasing, or peaceful perception. The important thing is, to me, is while it may knock you off your feet, that is not the time to run or second guess yourself or Him. Reach up take His Hand, and walk through with eyes wide open. It can be so hard, but HOW you walk through dark or painful experiences is so important.
Norma,
Truly, you are exhibiting excellent learning and revelation here from our mentoring sessions! We often think of the glory of God as the "high times in His presence" not the suffering of picking up our cross and following Him or the persecution that comes from those who do not want to pay the price to live in His glory or the darkness we must pass through in order to be made into His image. Thank you so much for reading and replying and may God continue to bless you with revelation knowledge about His glory.
Lovingly,
Prophetess Karen
