Welcome back! By now you know we should go beyond a “glow,” into a terrible brilliance. So, today we explore what terrible and holy glory looks like on us. My body is separated for your service LORD so I make glorious choices in determining what I eat (1 Corinthians 10:31). My eyes are consecrated for your service, LORD so I watch what I set before them (Psalm 101:3). My mind is made up and set apart for your service, LORD so I renew it daily with Your word (Psalm 26). My heart is for You and Your service and I will connect it to those who have Your eternal life flowing from their heart (Proverbs 4:23).
I could go on and on as these are just some of the things He requires of me in each area of my temple. How about you . . . what is He requiring of your body, eyes, mind, and heart? This is what you must identify and get clear about in order to lay hold of the prize called holy glory. If you aren’t specifically clear, it sounds like you’ve got a homework assignment, mentee. One resource I know will jumpstart this is to pick up The Making if you haven’t already. If you have, ask Him to lead you to the exact area that needs clarifying by directing you to the specific page(s) or chapter(s) in the book. In closing, holy glory is terrible brilliance.
Scriptures to meditate upon that can user you to Holy Glory: Ecclesiastes 8:12-13, Deuteronomy 7:21, Exodus 14:31, Leviticus 19:14, 32, 25:17, Proverbs 3:7, Psalm 27:1, 66:3,5, Isaiah 60:5
Mentee, if you’ve been in ministry for any length of time, you’ve seen much sin, wickedness, and things that will make your stomach and head turn. We need our Father to endure in the Spirit. We need something imparted directly from Him that no counseling session, talking about it with your best friend or spouse can give. Sadly, many of us don’t know what it is that we need. I’ll make it personal today. I didn’t know what I needed. I have been crying out to God about all the sin that dwells in those who He’s assigned to my life in this season. I want to make sure you don’t tune me out right now by saying, “Who does this self-righteous woman think she is?” ABBA will show you things about others to pray for them. At the same time, the evil, sin, and heinous ways we encounter as we stand in the gap for others are more than our flesh can bear. Notice, He said through me “ . . . more than our flesh can bear.” This clues us into the fact that by His Spirit we can bear all He chooses to show us about others. How? By appropriating this scripture:
“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you with the oil of joy in preference to your companions” – Hebrews 1:9 CJB
The one this scripture is referencing is Yeshua (Jesus). Let’s bring it home, now. The Yeshua (Jesus) within hates wickedness and loves righteousness and this is why you ache the way you do as you see what He chooses to reveal to you about the sin that dwells in others. The key here in terms of being free and not allowing the sin that lives in others to ensnare you and cause you to miss the Promise Land is to ask Him to anoint you with the oil of joy! I don’t know about you, but when the eyes of my understanding became enlightened, the scales fell off my spiritual eyes, and I began to see, I really began to see. There was no turning back, and honestly, what I saw disturbed me greatly.
I’ve found myself low, sad, and woe is me on many occasions. The freedom I find lies in this scripture. I need the oil of His joy in order to persevere with the right heart and attitude. I need the oil of joy to pass His test, and you need the oil of joy too. You see, mentee it’s really not about the sin that is dwelling in those you or I are assigned to. It’s all about how we handle, deal and cope with the sin as He reveals it to us. So I thank Him for His oil of joy for it is the strength both you and I need to continue to love righteousness, hate wickedness and sin, and not be overcome by anything but His love, grace, and mercy for us and others.
I want to leave you with one more thing, and it is this: Don’t forget to release and send the angels of the Most High Elohim (God) to assist in delivering those who have sin dwelling in their members. Don’t attempt to do what He’s called you to do in the flesh. He provided supernatural aid and resources because we need them. I admonish you to use them by appropriating the below scripture on the behalf of those assigned to you:
“Aren’t they all merely spirits who serve, sent out to help those whom God will deliver?” – Hebrews 1:14 CJB
Yesterday we explored that no matter how anointed you believe you are, you’ll never manifest the complete and entire glory of God. We talked about God’s structure for the body in ministry, which is team ministry. Let’s expand this topic today. The entire glory (the nature, character, and power) of Elohim (God) is not contained in one vessel. We are many members with some gifts (Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 12). I possess one facet and aspect of Elohim’s glory (God’s glory) with the spiritual gifts He’s given me, but when these spiritual gifts are connected and joined to your ministry or other ministries, they are joined to the spiritual gifts of each and every leader and ascension gift in that ministry. Now, when we go forth together to minister, “Ahhh,” a more complete dimension and a more accurate reflection of Elohim’s glory (God’s glory) is revealed.
God has one continued message He’s conveying to us. There is one conversation and divine communication He’s having with us one at a time. He may even keep repeating it over and over again saying it through different vessels to convey it in a way that you or someone else can grasp and comprehend. He loves us and wants us to understand what He’s saying. He’s not hiding meaning from us, He’s hiding it for us (Matthew 13:11, 1 Cor 4:1, Daniel 2:47, Deut 29:29).
We must be sharp, alert, awake, sober-minded. By the way, if you are receiving partial messages and not God’s entire message, the partial is being superseded by the whole making it void and antiquated (1 Corinthians 13:10). Some may say it this way prophetically, “You’re late!” when you deliver a message that He delivered already and has moved on.
Let us pray: ABBA, fine tune our ears and eyes to what you are saying. Cause us to seek you that you may reveal your mysteries, voice, and glory. Help us to seek after wisdom and understanding. Help us to come directly to you, not man. Open our eyes to see and believe that it is you, Yeshua, speaking to us through our circumstances, our pastors, mentors, coaches, the prophets and apostles, and that you hold all the understanding of each and every message and most often right in other things you have spoken to us. Elevate our pursuit of you. Break off all spiritual sloth, slack, and laziness. Sharpen us and open our eyes and ears like never before. We are your glory carriers, and it is pertinent that our seeing and hearing are perfected (i.e., sharp and quick, not dull) in you. Break the strongholds of self-serving ministry, lone rangers in ministry, and individuals with an anointing to a corporate body utilizing every spiritual gift you’ve blessed us with that your full glory is manifested in the lives of those you’ve called us to minister to. It is through Yeshua’s name we pray.
Have you ever heard, said, or thought, “I’m anointed all by myself.” We are talking glory here, not anointing! No one is a complete and entire manifestation of His glory by themselves. Some aren’t familiar with the prophetic team ministry concept. When prophetic teams work together in a presbytery or in a service, one team member will bring forth what Yahweh is saying to the corporate body or to a particular individual. Well, that team member prophesied in part, but then Yahweh will speak to another team member and that member will come forth and prophesy in part. By the time the entire team has ministered prophetically to the congregation (e.g., the corporate body) or the individual, you’ll see one message from the Father that was building through each vessel He spoke through.
It reminds me of this scripture:
9 For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).
10 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). - 1 Corinthians 13:9-10
The total team is a manifestation of the complete and perfect Word, message, and will of God. This is why haSatan (Satan) tries to destroy unity in the body, working together, and team ministry. Look at what happens in choirs. I know, I know, we’ve been told it’s because Lucifer was the minister of music in heaven and now he’s jealous of the fact that we still have the opportunity to worship Elohim (Ezekiel 28). Hmm . . . could it be he wants to stop the choir from coming forth worshiping in unity until one sound, one voice, and one prophetic message of the Father comes forth. Yes, it is so. Read 2 Chronicles 5:13-14. Okay, that’s for the worshipers. Now let’s go back . . .
If you’ve read the above-referenced scripture, you found out that when we go forth as a team the glory manifests.
