What . . . not again?

You may or may not know I’m a consultant for the local government in my hometown. As a matter of fact in a recent video, I testified about being re-awarded the contract with a huge increase. Well, as you might have suspected, there’s a huge responsibility that comes with such increase. The person responsible for the vision of the department that I report into shared with me day one the desire to see the role grow into be more entrepreneurial. I remained silent at the time due to past experience with the philosophy and culture of management.

Fast forwarding to the present, Yahweh’s been orchestrating some things to birth today’s lesson for you. You see, almost immediately after sharing the new entrepreneurial vision with me, that I began to operate in by the way, everything I touched had the brakes pulled on it!

The internal players’ pride manifested and they went to management and told them they weren’t going to and shouldn’t have to take order from a “consultant.” Management, in turn, approaches me with a new laundry list of: This needs to go through me, that needs to go through here, and carbon copy me on this, that, and the other thing. I nodded in agreement and replied, “Will do, and I must point out that many in this organization need to grow up!” Yes, He (Yahweh) released me to say it; so I did.

Management agreed wholeheartedly and then proceeded to make excuses for their colleagues. A couple of weeks go by and I’m approached with another “take this, lead it, and run with it” task. Okay, I’m off. I’m on it. Mid-stream into the task, management takes over. Okay, I think, pray, and watch it all unfold. I could hear Yahweh saying, relax, listen, and go with it. Two to three weeks go by and the exact same thing takes place. I said to myself, “Are you kidding me?” Okay, now I’m really praying, and Yahweh gives me this to say:

“Although you’d like me to be entrepreneurial, the reality is that’s not possible in our current environment given the management philosophy. So, I’m sharing this so what’s running under the table is out on the table and acknowledged. Also, what this means for me is that most to all of what I perceive , based on my entrepreneurial mindset, would take 5-30 minutes to complete turns into hours and in some instances days worth of work. It is what it is; let’s just call it what it is.”

If you’re like most, you’re wondering how management replied. For now, I’ll just say hold on it’s coming. Your first lesson is, just because you hold a position of empowerment, it doesn’t mean you’re actually fully empowered. Beloved, I’ve said it before and it still holds as He leads me to repeat it, there’s a lot of fear in the workplace amongst managers, and many of them breed risk aversion. If you’re like most, you’ve had a “Are you kidding me?” moment or two.

Well, back to our conversation to leave you with this glorious hope. Management’s reply to what Yahweh gave me to say, in essence was, “We’ve got to change and we get to be the standard, Karen!” YES . . .

Your second lesson is, you must pray for everyone in your direct working sphere. Anyone who touches a project you’re working on immediately goes on your prayer list right at the onset of the project. If you’ll pray faithfully, Yahweh will grant the favor to speak truth seasoned with wisdom and grace to impact change. If you take me up on this prayer challenge, I’d love to hear the results. It’s time to stop shaking our heads and saying, “Are you kidding me?” and become the light showing them way; be the Standard!

Are you afraid to ask?

Then they left that place and made their way through Galilee, but He did not want anyone to know it. For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and after He is killed, He will rise three days later.” But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask Him. – Mark 9:30-32 HCSB

This is one of 13 things Yahushua (Jesus) said in this chapter. The phrase in this verse spoke to me, and now it’s speaking to you.

There are many times in our walk with Yahushua that He says things we don’t quite grasp and understand. It is in these times He expects us to call out to the deep for understanding. I’ll never forget I was praying one day affirming what I know (i.e., revealed knowledge from the Father) about my call, and he interrupted me and said, “Karen, it’s not what you know you need to be concerned about, it’s what you don’t know.” Wow, I realized in that moment there is an unrevealed knowledge and wisdom of the Father concerning my authority that I’ll never know if I don’t seek it out. The same holds true for you, and you must not be afraid to “know.”

I believe this is the reason many leaders don’t ask Him the type of questions that reveal answers about their authority. They are afraid of the unknown! At the same time, He speaks through me and tells you what He told me, “It’s not what you know you need to be concerned about; it’s what you don’t know.”

The other reason many leaders don’t ask is because they are afraid of what He’ll tell them to do. Obviously, they didn’t read the fifth thing He said in this chapter. Let’s read it now together:

“. . . Everything is possible to the one who believes.” – Mark 9:23

Because everything is possible to those who believe, you don’t have to be afraid to ask Him to expound on what he asks or says, and you don’t have to be afraid of what He’ll tell you to do to operate in your authority as a believer.

My prayer is that you’ll meditate on this scripture until you’re no longer afraid to ask. I challenge you to ask Him this for the next 30 days, “What do I need to know today?” Wait, listen for the answer. He’ll speak unimaginable, glorious things, beloved. Don’t forget to do what He tells you so you can begin to operate in your authority. Are you afraid to ask?

Prophetic Word & Instructions to Five-fold Leaders

Yesterday, Yahweh released this word to the body of Christ, and I’m impressed to share it here. I preface it by saying, “This is not aimed at specific ministry or business leader.”

Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?

Everywhere you turn leaders are being ousted for sexual sins. At the same time, these leaders don’t possess David’s spirit. You see, when they are confronted with their sin, they lie, deny, and in some cases even crucify the one who confronts and inquires. The hearts of many leaders are surely wicked, and they are not turned to Yahweh (God). These men and women are not after Yahweh’s heart, but are after the lusts of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lusts of the eyes.

Because they are not quick to confess and repent, they are snatched away before their time and their foundations are washed away like a river (Job 22:16). Instead of running to Yahweh to be cleansed of their sin, they say, “Leave us alone, God (Job 22:17)!”

Oh what a tangled, deceptive web Satan laid that entrapped them in uncleanness and bondage.

“So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.” – James 4:16 AMP

In some instances, it’s simply man choosing wrong over right. When man chooses man-made glory over Yahweh’s glory, they end up walking on the same ancient path that wicked kings before them walked. Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked (Job 22:15 HCSB)?

Blessed and happy and to be envied are those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried.– Romans 4:7 AMP

If you’re going to cover your sins, you don’t need Him to cover them, and He can’t cover what you conceal. Come clean to be cleansed, beloved. He’s waiting with open, merciful, loving arms of atonement and forgiveness. The fallout of sexual sin is devastating. It ruins marriages, families, lives, ministries, churches, and elections and callings unnecessarily. There is an option, and it is honest confession and true repentance. How many casualties will you take with you by continuing on the ancient path of wicked kings? Unharden your heart and hear His voice (Hebrews 4:7).

Miracles & Souls Await His Glory

Mentee,

I woke up to Yahweh saying this to me this morning, “It’s the power of Yahweh to let a miracle flow through you.” I grabbed my pen and began to write this post by His inspiration. Many of us are familiar with the power necessary to work a miracle, but are not so acquainted with the power necessary to allow miracles to flow through us on a daily basis.

In order to live in this place, your head/face must stay under the water spout! I’ll expound with two analogies. The first is, you’re in the shower after a long, hard day and the water is soothing your tired achy muscles. It feels so good that you take it a bit further and stand under the shower spout. The second is, it’s a hot summer day and you’re off to the swimming pool. You graciously ease into the water toes first. Before long, you dive head first underwater and stay there for a few seconds. It is in the “heat of things” that most of us run to the shelter of the Shepherd. Reason being, many of us wouldn’t seek Him with fervency and passion if everything was hunky-dory. These analogies illustrate how we must be submerged daily in order to tap into the flow of glory that produces and generates miracles, and it takes Ruach HaKodesh’s (Holy Spirit’s) power to get in and stay in this place. This is my prayer for you today, mentee that you’ll allow yourself to be submerged in Him resulting in miracles being released through you.

Now, don’t get all religious and super spiritual on me and start qualifying what is and is not a miracle. Remember, this post is about miracles flowing through us via His power, and not our own. We’re looking to be available and fully yielded to only what He can do! At this level of glory, there is no room for flesh.

That no flesh should glory in his presence. – 1 Cor 1:29 KJV

To stay submerged in His presence, likeness, and the weight of His glory, your flesh can’t be in charge. I’m ready to not only see the working of miracles, but to allow them flow through me even the more. How about you, beloved? Before you answer yes, remember what you learned yesterday about the Hebrew word for glory. Let’s apply it to the above scripture to help you arrive at the answer. No flesh can be influential, honored, reverenced, enriched, prominent/weighty, and prosper in His presence.

Let’s dive into the deep daily and come up flowing in His miraculous glory that others might be transformed, touched, healed, saved, reconciled, and delivered. For this is the purpose of miracles. They aren’t for us (i.e., believers); they are to draw the unbeliever. Often times we focus so much on developing a witnessing spill and formula while neglecting to just flow in Him miraculously that souls are drawn to Yahushua. This is what He did; join me in imitating Him.

Are you seeking glory from other people?

Beloved mentee,

I’m easing back into the swing of things as I continue seeking His face concerning next steps and direction and today in prayer He spoke this and I knew to share it with you.

As you may or may not know or recall, glory is defined as the character, nature, and power of Yahweh. He’s spent that past two years teaching you, through me, about glory primarily from the aspect of His character and nature because this is the order in which He releases glory to us. So many folks in ministry speak of glory from the power aspect only (i.e., doing the works of Yahushua) and yet fail to speak of the character and nature of Yahushua and Yahweh (i.e., the being like Father and the Son).

Today’s post focuses on the power aspect of His glory and further defines glory based on the Hebrew word kabowd pronounced kä·vōde’. Kabowd means honor, splendor, abundance, dignity, reputation, reverence, riches, magnificence, and precious things. The figurative meaning of this word is heaviness, to be weighty/influential. In light of this, Yahweh is asking, “Are you seeking honor, splendor, abundance, dignity, a reputation, reverence, riches, magnificence, precious things, and to be influential from other people?”

“For we never used flattering speech, as you know, or had greedy motives —God is our witness and we didn’t seek glory from people, either from you or from others.” – 1 Thess 2:5-6 HCSB

We see from the above scripture this is not what we should do. As a ministry leader, those who you have preached the gospel to that have receive it and are imitating you as you imitate Christ are the people who become your glory and joy. Look at this:

“For who is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you? For you are our glory and joy!” – 1 Thess 2:19-20 HCSB

You see, unmade leaders seek glory from men, and made leaders cause others to become glorious, honorable, rich, weighty, prosperous, influential men. Which kind of leader are you . . . made or unmade? If unmade, you can begin the making process by clicking here.

Be Still!

Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! - Psalm 46:10 AMP

Mentee, it takes time to make a true minister! This is what I heard Yahweh (God) say today, and I’m oh so glad that He kept me on His wheel so I can be one of His true, choice vessels. So many ministers can’t say this. You see, they run from event to event, service to service, ministry engagement to ministry engagement, and conference to conference speaking. Notice I didn’t say they run from event to event ministering, right?

They think they are ministering, but they truth is, they are not according to Yahweh’s standard, which is His glory manifested in the person of Yahushua (Jesus). Yahushua is our perfect example of what true ministry looks like. Didn’t He withdraw from ministry to let Father make Him via their communion and fellowship? He knew how to be still. How about you? If not, you join the ranks of far too many who “stay out there” and never withdraw to be made. Mentee, this is a recipe for disaster, and it is not the example our Father wants us to follow.

I come today as a witness of His perfect timing in sharpening, making, perfecting, and polishing us as we learn to be still. The souls of many await the genuine glory that is to be found in those who stayed on the Potter’s wheel and now shine like a beacon of light, hope, salvation, and deliverance. Don’t be anxious to minister, beloved. Simply make your requests known and He’s sure to answer you by making you what need to be in order to step onto the ministry platform you prayed for. Just be still.

The Dead Things Must Go

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. – Mathew 8:22

Mentee, as I showered today, I conversed with Yahweh about some remaining dead skin underneath my arms. Immediately as I continued speaking to the mountain He said through me, “This temple is life, and every dead thing must go.”

He continued ministering to me like this: I don’t eat dead, processed things in this live temple. Even further, ever person or connection around me that’s dead must go if it can’t be quickened to life by Ruach HaKodesh. Prayerfully, you’re allowing Him to minister the same thing to you as I immediately knew He wanted me to share it with you.

Beloved, no matter how much you love the dead food or people, the dead things must go if you’ll see His glory the way you say you want to.

What are your delights and pleasures?

Does eating certain foods bring you pleasure? Do you delight in the shopping and meal prep process? You know, I’ve been led to study two words. They are pleasure and delight, and I’ve found out what brings Yahweh pleasure and delight. Frankly, I’ve been found wanting. My pleasures and delights still don’t quite come up to His. So, in His grace He showed me that when any man loves pleasures other than His, s/he will end up poor (i.e., financially and spiritually).

You see, it takes money to buy what pleases you. Have you ever noticed that? I want you to take a look at your monthly bank statement and identify everything you spend money on that brings you pleasure and delight. Now add it up; got that figure? How much more could you have saved or used to be a blessing if you weren’t spending to please yourself?

Today’s post helps you see if food brings you pleasure as it does me and identify a target area of poverty. When you eat to please yourself because you delight in food versus eating to stop the hunger pains, you overeat. We all know overeating leads to gluttony, greed, and eventually sickness/disease. Can you see these destructive actions and impoverished mindset does not glorify Yahweh? If so, pray that Yahweh will cause you to take delight and pleasure in what He delights in and takes pleasure in for truly it enriches versus enslaves.

He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich. – Proverbs 21:17 AMP

Enlarge our Territory, LORD!

Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request. – 1 Chronicles 4:10 AMP

Many true and false vessels pray this prayer, and today Yahweh answers you through me by saying, “For what? You want me to enlarge your border and territory to continue being blind, undelivered, selfish, haughty, impoverished, and hungry guides.”

The very ministers praying this prayer failed to see the ninth verse that says, “Jabez was honorable and the 10th verse that says keep me from evil.” If you don’t meet these conditions, your prayer needs to be deliver me, mold me, make me into Your image, open my eyes, feed me . . . birth a yearning in me for You, Your ways, and Your Kingdom to come in me. This is the prayer that places one on the track for an enlarged territory.

If you are free to freely give and lead, then you can start praying “an enlarge me prayer.” This post is Yahweh prophetically demanding that you examine yourself prior to seeking enlargement and increase.
