Glory & Honour

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.” – 1 Chronicles 16:27 KJV

No glory, no honour!  You can’t separate God’s glory from His honour.  These two phrases appear numerous times in scripture. You’ve been on a journey of being mentored into becoming a glorious vessel.  Today, Father wants you to pause and call a time out so He can ask you through me, “What honour have you been denying Him through unsurrendered areas of your soul (i.e., mind, will, emotions, and in your flesh (i.e., your physical body)?”  Whether you choose to answer this question or not is entirely up to you and really is irrelevant.  You see since glory and honour are inseparable and if you don’t pass this time out test, you’ve gone as far as I can take you into the glory.  You must be willing to give it all up.  So, let me ask you again.  “What honour have you been denying Him through unsurrendered areas of your soul (i.e., mind, will, emotions, and in your flesh (i.e., your physical body)?”

For more inspiration and encouragement, listen.

Responding to His glory,

Event-driven Glory

Monday, November 9th, 2009

If you’ve been in ministry for any length of time, you’ve experienced those special “high times” (as we call them) where the Lord really blesses us with miraculous manifestations of His glory.  BUT, then you have to go back to the routine of the way life really is.  You know the day-to-day activities of our life where we crave to hear God’s voice and see a glimmer of His glory.

The Lord had to teach me that I’m not suppose to live in the glory with an “event driven” mindset.  Let me explain.  When we know there is a special conference, retreat, or event coming up, it seems we live with such a focused determination and consecration.  We fast, read the word everyday, and humble ourselves to receive something precious and divinely unique; something we have never received from Father for His people ever before.  We usher ourselves into a visitation(James 4:8).

God’s glory is available for us to live in everyday.  As a matter of fact, it is in the day-to-day activities and interaction that demonstrating God’s character, nature, and power counts the most.  We may have high mountaintop experiences where see God’s splendor and glory, but it is not the place from where we live.  Elohim (God) always calls us from the mountain with a tangible piece of Himself to walk out and impart to others.  So, I challenge you today to graduate from the “event-driven glory experience” to a daily walk in His glory.

Elohim (God) is calling us from the mountain to an everyday mountaintop experience of His glory(Mark 9:5-9).

Resting gloriously in Him,
