Strict Obedience

The reason why many ministers will never live in the glory or even create a habitation for the Most High Elohim (God) is because they are unwilling to walk in strict obedience. We must strictly and unhesitantly obey all that God commands in order to create a place where His glory abides. So don’t be fooled by those who say, “His glory abides here” or “it abides over there,” but when you look at their lives, you see all kinds of sin and disobedience.

I highly doubt the rigidly righteous God, who created us to obey Him as the King of Glory that He is, is abiding there. We are funny people! We want what God possesses and who He is, but we don’t want want to obey Him (i.e., do what it takes) to receive it. Then, we start making up stuff, fabricating things, and eventually deceiving ourselves and others into believing that we are obeying and that He is dwelling with us. I come today to tell you if you are not walking in strict obedience, The King of glory shall not come in. I don’t care how much you lift up you head (and hands), quote Psalm 24:7-10, and dance around.

If you hopped over Psalm 24:3-5 have not lifted up you life as a holy sacrifice, The King of Glory is not coming

Under the Cloud

When you are under the cloud, you only move when He says move. You don’t make hasty moves when you are under the cloud because you know His protection and power may not follow. What hasty moves (i.e., financial, ministerial, business, family decisions) are you making? It’s a dangerous thing to move when the cloud isn’t moving. It can hurt your life and the life of others.

Mentee, if we are going to live in the glory, we have to learn to move with the cloud, stay under the cloud, and how to cause others to come under the cloud. I pray that your spiritual senses become heightened to when God wants you to stay, advance, or move forward. There is a fresh glory under the cloud, and books are birthed; ministries are born; new Kingdom legislation is established. Many blessings await you, mentee under the cloud. The blessings of safety, audibly clear communication with God, and divine instructions for those He’s called you to lead are under the cloud.

Holy Glory – Part II

Welcome back! By now you know we should go beyond a “glow,” into a terrible brilliance. So, today we explore what terrible and holy glory looks like on us. My body is separated for your service LORD so I make glorious choices in determining what I eat (1 Corinthians 10:31). My eyes are consecrated for your service, LORD so I watch what I set before them (Psalm 101:3). My mind is made up and set apart for your service, LORD so I renew it daily with Your word (Psalm 26). My heart is for You and Your service and I will connect it to those who have Your eternal life flowing from their heart (Proverbs 4:23).

I could go on and on as these are just some of the things He requires of me in each area of my temple. How about you . . . what is He requiring of your body, eyes, mind, and heart? This is what you must identify and get clear about in order to lay hold of the prize called holy glory. If you aren’t specifically clear, it sounds like you’ve got a homework assignment, mentee. One resource I know will jumpstart this is to pick up The Making if you haven’t already. If you have, ask Him to lead you to the exact area that needs clarifying by directing you to the specific page(s) or chapter(s) in the book. In closing, holy glory is terrible brilliance.

Holy Glory

The Hebrew root of holy is q-d-h and is related to glory, separateness, purity, brightness, and terrible shining. When I look at these words with my spiritual eyes, I see a progression of glory based on levels of holiness. See, there is a shine or glow, if you will, that comes on you and over you as you cooperate with the sanctifying work of Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh). It’s a beautiful; thing. At the same time, why stop here when there is yet another level/dimension to lay hold of? This dimension of which I speak and lay hold of is beyond a glow or a shine and is a terrible shining and brightness. In case you aren’t aware, terrible is an adjective that is used to describe Elohim (God) and it means: to tremble, be afraid, to cause to reverence, stupendous, wonderful, to hide, be afraid, godly, upright, to be feared, dreadful, admirable, wonderful, to put in fear, and to tremble for joy. So a terrible shining causes one to reverence, fear, tremble, hide, dread, admire, and exclaim the stupendous wonder of those who are godly and upright. Oh Prophetess Karen, how do I get there? That’s a great question that we will explore tomorrow, mentee.

Do you really believe?

How many times do we talk about experiencing, seeing, and living in the glory? Do you really believe He’ll wrap you the glory like a well-worn garment? He will so that all nations, tribes, and tongues gather to worship and serve Him. He longs to reveal Himself that all flesh may know that He is LORD. The glory is going to cover the earth, and you are a part of it. The glory has come. Do you really believe?

Well if you do, you’ll see His glory, not because I say so, but because He says so. Go here to hear it for yourself.

It never ceases to amaze me how those who are being “made” can’t sit still. Their calendar is full with this that and the other. Sadly, many of it is ministry related and they haven’t even been made into His image yet! We must cooperate with the process of His making us into all He intends. To do this requires we sit still and allow Him to hide us in the cleft of the Rock. It requires us to come off this board, auxiliary, committee, and perhaps even decrease the number of nights we attend church. Yes, I said it. When you are being made, you are likened to a tender shoot and even a mild wind can blow you off the path. This is why you find yourself hurt so much and offended by this and that. You haven’t been made yet. It’s time to be still and know He’s God and allow Him to mentor you. Are you willing to submit to the process? If so, then here’s the perfect prayer to pray:

Lord, hide me until the appointed time for it is Your glory to conceal a thing until the right moment (Proverbs 25:2).

In this situation . . .

I see so many of ministers of the gospel struggle in their situations (i.e., whatever the situation might be). I watch as they as solicit the prayers of “the righteous,” talk about it, and sow seed on top of and all around it. Well, there is an easier way in accordance with His word that tells us His yoke is easy. Why do we burden ourselves instead of making a divine exchange? Here’s how it might look and play out:

Get still, and say, “Lord, show me Your glory in this situation (Exodus 33:18)”. Don’t you know, child of God that you can be freed up quicker by the revealing of His glory? His glory leads you to the truth, wisdom, peace and so much more concerning the situation. So the next time you find yourself “in a situation,” don’t fret, worry, strive, or attempt to figure it out in the flesh, simply ask Him to show you His glory in the situation.

What do you love?

Wait before you answer this question, I want you to think about where and how you spend your time. This is the only way to answer this question. We know Yeshua (Jesus) rebuke the Pharisees all the time for being quick to confidently answer the question He probed them with. In other words, He knows how easy it is for us to be “religious by giving the answer we think He and others want to hear.” With that being said, “You probably answered the question like this, “Jesus,” and you did so because you thought that was the expected answer. Well, I will release the scripture now to show you the answer He requires, not expects:

Lord, I love the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells. – Psalm 26:8 AMP

Let’s pray:

ADONAI (Lord) deliver us from the spirit of religion and deliver us from lip service. We thank you for your deliverance and ask you to birth in us a love for Your house . . . the place where your glory dwells more than anything else. We thank you that we will know that you have done this by our insatiable desire to spend more and more time where Your glory dwells. We know this is not a “church building” of which you speak, but a habitation we have created for You in us. Thank you, thank you for a pure love and pure appetite to spend our time where Your glory dwells. Amen

The Glory is a Defense!

The glory of God is a weapon just as humility is a weapon for a man or woman of God. The problem is that many of us rush to defend, prove, plead our case, and tell our story before allowing Adonai (the LORD) to do so on our behalf. I’ll never forget how the LORD taught me this lesson. You see, I was infamous for “needing to share, plead, prove my innocence, etc. One day, as was my custom of “defending me,” God spoke to me. He said, “Karen, if you are going to defend yourself, then you don’t need me to do so. So, do you want me to vindicate and defend or do you want to do for yourself?” That’s all He needed to say to me. Lesson learned! He backed up what He said to me with a scripture, which I share with you and I pray it releases you from being captive to defending “you.”

It is:

And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defense of divine love and protection). – Isaiah 4:5 AMP

Hallelujah, the glory of God is a defense of His love and protection over us like a canopy. You will start to sense the canopy over you as you give up your right to defend yourself. It’s there right now; hovering, waiting, lingering.

Fresh Glory

My glory and honor are fresh in me [being constantly renewed], and my bow gains [ever] new strength in my hand. – Job 29:20 AMP

What is fresh glory and what does it look like? You can recognize glory in, on, and upon you when the strength to offer up high praises in a way that the two-edged sword, which is your mouth executes vengeance on the heathen and punishment on the people. This is radical praise; this isn’t the same ole stale hallelujah offered from week to week and month to month in the lives of many ministers. No, this is the type of glorious praise that binds kings with chains and the so-called “noble” with fetters of iron and stops every plan, plot, and snare in advance. This is fresh glory! Fresh glory is victorious; it’s the type of glory that causes Elohim (God) to rebuke kings for your sake. It’s the time of glory that turns the counsel of the ungodly to be of no effect. You better get you some; some what? Some fresh glory! Go here (Psalm 33:10-11, Psalm 149:-6-9, and 1 Chronicles 16:21).
