Mentee, I’m learning that money and food have ensnared many a leader, including myself at a point in time. When I wondered and inquired of Yahweh, He revealed this: Both are appetites that need to be under the control of His Spirit.

If you and I were to take a look around the body we’d see a lot of leaders unsubmitted in these two areas of their lives. I’ve come to know through firsthand experience that it is one of the most stubborn areas of our flesh. When you don’t have a revelation on the purpose of money or food, you’ll abuse, misuse, and eventually lose everything and find yourself on the road to destruction (Proverbs 23:21).

Beloved, our appetites can never be satisfied (Eccl 4:8, 6:7), which is why we must depend on Him to be our bread and meat and the sole source of satisfaction and joy. He’s blessed us with richness (Proverbs 8:18, 10:22, Isaiah 45:3, Romans 11:33, 2 Cor 6:10, Ephesians 1:7, 2:7,3:8, 3:19). Any leader who is seeking His glory will be tested and tempted by money and food. These trials and tests are common to all; the issue is will you submit your greed for food and riches to Him? If so, you’re headed straight for His glory. If not, you’ll find yourself spinning y our wheels chasing things that don’t truly satisfy.

Father, I lift up all of your leadership today praying they come into a revelation and deep understanding about Your purpose for money and food. May they surrender the false appetite for what they see for a true appetite for Your true riches that are seen, recognized, and realized by those with spiritual eyes/ears. Loose them from the snare on their soul to lust after, crave, and seek money and/or food. Bring them into the place where their meat is to do Your will. Quench and satisfy every longing that is pure by Your Spirit. Ruach HaKodesh, stir them to find comfort in Your and You alone. May Your embrace satisfying more than the allusion of the warmth and safety of food and money. Lift them beyond reliance on the natural into reliance on the supernatural fruit that brings richness, joy, and peace. I thank you for destroying false kingdoms they’ve built and for erecting Your true Kingdom in them, and we know that all things will be added according to Your word, will, and way. Protect their eye gate from the realm which stimulates their senses to develop an unnatural and ungodly longing, craving, and desire for money and food.

Prophetic Word & Instructions to Five-fold Leaders

Yesterday, Yahweh released this word to the body of Christ, and I’m impressed to share it here. I preface it by saying, “This is not aimed at specific ministry or business leader.”

Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?

Everywhere you turn leaders are being ousted for sexual sins. At the same time, these leaders don’t possess David’s spirit. You see, when they are confronted with their sin, they lie, deny, and in some cases even crucify the one who confronts and inquires. The hearts of many leaders are surely wicked, and they are not turned to Yahweh (God). These men and women are not after Yahweh’s heart, but are after the lusts of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lusts of the eyes.

Because they are not quick to confess and repent, they are snatched away before their time and their foundations are washed away like a river (Job 22:16). Instead of running to Yahweh to be cleansed of their sin, they say, “Leave us alone, God (Job 22:17)!”

Oh what a tangled, deceptive web Satan laid that entrapped them in uncleanness and bondage.

“So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.” – James 4:16 AMP

In some instances, it’s simply man choosing wrong over right. When man chooses man-made glory over Yahweh’s glory, they end up walking on the same ancient path that wicked kings before them walked. Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked (Job 22:15 HCSB)?

Blessed and happy and to be envied are those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried.– Romans 4:7 AMP

If you’re going to cover your sins, you don’t need Him to cover them, and He can’t cover what you conceal. Come clean to be cleansed, beloved. He’s waiting with open, merciful, loving arms of atonement and forgiveness. The fallout of sexual sin is devastating. It ruins marriages, families, lives, ministries, churches, and elections and callings unnecessarily. There is an option, and it is honest confession and true repentance. How many casualties will you take with you by continuing on the ancient path of wicked kings? Unharden your heart and hear His voice (Hebrews 4:7).

No guts, no glory!

Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. – Joshua 1:7

You may or may not have seen or heard this phrase. I heard it recently for the first time in a long time, and Yahweh said, “That’s right no guts, no glory, and so many of my children won’t see or experience My glory because they don’t have the guts.” He continued to speak about some of the things many of us don’t have the guts to do. Beloved mentee, you need guts in order to:

>>>–Allow Him to make you

>>>–Operate in His authority (heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and manifest great miracles)

>>>–Spread the gospel by evangelizing

>>>–Believe His word

>>>–Walk by faith and not by sight

>>>–Live holy

>>>–Confront evil and false teachers/prophets with a message truth, judgment, and repentance

>>>–Do and say only what you see Him do and say in your personal life and ministry

These are just some of the things that many ministers forego because they don’t have the guts, and they will not see His glory. The Word is full of “don’t be afraid and fear not” admonitions from Yahweh. He left them for us so that we would forge ahead in His strength, courage, and confidence and see Him manifest His glory through us.

Glorious Singleness – Part II

Mentee,

Yesterday, we laid the foundation for how Yahweh wants us to allow Him to divinely arrange our marriage. Beloved, I declare it’s time to do it Yahweh’s way. How many more dates and trials resulting in divorce, separation, and broken ungodly covenants do you need to experience before you cry out for Yahweh to bring you His choice in a mate? Cry out . . . Yahweh arrange my marriage. I’ve made a mess doing it according to my standards, the world’, and Satan’s. I’m ready to do it your way.

Make me steadfast, stable, and able to be betrothed, not engaged. For I now know even engagements can be broken if I try something and I don’t like it, but Your way of betrothal to your choice enters me into a covenant that you reveal isn’t meant to be broken. It’s not a “trial period.” It’s me saying, yes to your will and trusting that you know what’s best for me. No matter what I see, think, and feel, Ill trust you and marry your choice. I won’t turn my back on you and thus your choice. Yahweh, I’m asking you to get the glory out of my marriage and to make my singleness glorious. I’m Your Ruth; you are my Boaz, and therefore, you can send me my Boaz in the natural because I’m already betrothed to You. I’m Your bride to be and Your yet teaching me pure, true love, which I’ll lavishly give your choice of mate for me. Thanks you for making me a glorious single vessel fit to be used in the area of marriage. Use me to bring forth your will in my life concerning marriage.

Glorious Singleness

Mentee,

You know I don’t see anything in scripture that references a man and a woman going on a date. The world we live in has told us you better try everything on and you better try everything out. If you don’t like it, you can bring it back, return it, or get a refund. Now, we have reduced Yahweh’s glorious creation down to merchandise by implementing a worldly return policy mindset.

Relationships are covenants. Do you possess a revelation of the word covenant and the terms/conditions under which one can and should be broken? In the Old Covenant, we don’t see a dating approach and a return clause. We see betrothal to the one Yahweh has chosen, and yes He used parents’ wisdom in making that choice. Arranged marriages still exist. The question really is, who is doing the arranging . . . man, flesh, the world, or Yahweh? Because you already know our enemies mentioned in the last sentence and Satan will pick one for you if you allow them to. At the same time, so will Yahweh if you allow Him to. When you do, He’s glorified in so many ways. Single ministers, I come today urging and beseeching you to get free from the worldly mindset of going on dates, sampling, and treating people like merchandise.

Take Your Life More Seriously!

You know I see so many ministers put the most trivial things before a passionate pursuit of the life that’s hid with Christ. They are so easily distracted by celebrations, events, and the world’s trappings. Truly, they are more Western than they are ministers.

Your New Moon festivals and your [hypocritical] appointed feasts My soul hates. They are an oppressive burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. – Isaiah 1:14 AMP

So many of them live like mere ordinary men. They are temporal, seasonal, and lukewarm at best in their relationship with Yahweh. Summer time rolls around and all of sudden they are MIA (missing in action) for prayer, fasting, and more consecration/sanctification. They celebrate pagan holidays like mere mortal men, acting like they haven’t been entrusted with the responsibility to search out the truths and revelation in scripture that in turn delivers them and those assigned their hands.

For as I passed along and carefully observed your objects of worship, I came also upon an altar with this inscription, To the unknown god. Now what you are already worshiping as unknown, this I set forth to you. – Acts 17:23 AMP

This scripture is a perfect depiction of their worship. They worship what they know not. They are not intimately acquainted with Him, His ways, or His word. My prayer is that the fire of Yahweh burns in you so much that you aggressively seek the fullness and the riches of the life that awaits you in Christ. Beloved mentee, there is more glory to be unharnessed, unleashed, revealed, and discovered. It is time to take your life Christ gave you seriously; play time is over!

Loving Exposure

The prophetic is so misunderstood and persecuted, and one of the reasons is that true prophetic ministry lovingly exposes. Yahweh loves you so much that He will reveal unsubmitted areas of your life to true vessels who lovingly usher and draw you back to the place of 100% obedience. This is the primary reason for prophetic exposure. If a false or immature vessel exposes for the sole purpose of reveling in how much they know, how spiritually deep they are, and/or to cause you to fear them or Yahweh in an unhealthy unwholesome way, know that is not loving exposure. No that is not how Holy Spirit, who helps us please Yahweh, operates. I’d say that spirit is immature, unwise, impure, and/or false.

Yahweh shares His true glory with us when we reflect His character and nature. The reason so many prophets (and other five-fold leaders) are mocked, called a sham, and are not yet trusted is because they have yet to be made into the glorious image of His nature and character. All ministry and especially prophetic ministry motivation should be rooted in love and whatever Yahweh chooses to reveal and expose should then be ministered with loving motivation not grand stand, ego-driven, love self more than anyone else ministry.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;- 1 Corinthians. 13:4-5 AMP

I’m Livin’

My declaration today is: “I’m living!” I’m taking Romans 12:2 serious. I’m taking Ephesians 3:3 serious. I want to be very clear that I’ve died many deaths to reach this point. I’ve laid down my life and all my plans for it that I might live His life. Are you livin’ today? You are if He’s alive in you. You are if every day you decrease living your life and increase in living the life He gave you to live. I’m not bound by dead works, dead religion, or dead demonic power. I’m alive in Christ, and Christ is alive in me. Today, I’m livin.’ I’m livin’ free, victorious, powerful, peaceful, loving, and full of His abundant life!
