Why would I hire you to work for me full time?

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

Many ministers long to be in full time ministry where they are able to live off the finances the ministry brings in versus working for an employer.

Let’s take a look at how they are spending their time. They go to work, come home, have their last meal of the day, and plop in front of the TV, say a sorry bed time prayer, and roll over and go to sleep. At the same time, they hold a ministry title and you can’t tell them they aren’t in ministry. Now, they didn’t witness, teach, heal, and set anyone free all day long. So Yahweh asks you through me, “Why would I hire you to work for Me full time?”

You see, He’s looking at how you spend your time despite the fact that you have a job. He’s looking at how much work you’ll do for Him without a ministry that you can benefit from financially. Beloved, I’m not sure how we’ve become so deceived, but the God I serve, and His name is Yahweh, promotes based on faithfulness and the ability to steward the little well before He blesses with much.

Today, I heard Him say to me, “I can trust you to work full time for Me because you are doing it right now.” Mind you, I’m not getting “paid.” Can the same be said of you? If not, “Why would He hire you to work for Him full time?”

With glorious wisdom,

Pointers for Ministers Developing Mature Discernment

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Yesterday I said, “If I ever impart anything into your life via this blog, I pray that it is true and mature spiritual discernment. You must be keen and acute in discerning the true from the fake, truth from error, and good from evil if you’re going to walk and live in His glory.” I reiterate this today for spiritual reinforcement and to emphasize how passionate I am about you developing mature discernment. With that being said, here are some tips to help you do just that.

Prayer Points for Developing Mature Discernment

>>>Ask Yahweh to help you reserve your judgment for His. Let’s turn to Yahushua, our glorious leadership example:

Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me. – John 5:30 AMP

I can’t do a thing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is right; because I don’t seek my own desire, but the desire of the one who sent me. – John 5:30 CJB

>>>Ask Him to show you error and the spirit of error when presented with any kind of information. Let’s look to Him now:

Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. – Matthew 24:4 amp

Yeshua replied: “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! – Matthew 24:4 CJB

So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. – Ephesians 4:14 AMP

We will then no longer be infants tossed about by the waves and blown along by every wind of teaching, at the mercy of people clever in devising ways to deceive. – Ephesians 4:14 CJB

For our appeal [in preaching] does not [originate] from delusion or error or impure purpose or motive, nor in fraud or deceit. – 1 Thess 2:3 AMP

For the appeal we make does not flow from error or from impure motives, neither do we try to trick people. – 1 Thess 2:3 CJB

He must hold fast to the sure and trustworthy Word of God as he was taught it, so that he may be able both to give stimulating instruction and encouragement in sound (wholesome) doctrine and to refute and convict those who contradict and oppose it [showing the wayward their error]. – Titus 1:9 AMP

Beloved, we will be tossed to and fro like a ship, fooled, hoodwinked, and tricked if we don’t start asking Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) to reveal error when we see and hear it. Yahweh desires that we not only discern error but move into the place where we are mature enough to refute it and convict those who are moving in error.

Let this marinade for the next 24 hours, and tomorrow I’ll continue provide mentoring in the area of pointers for developing mature discernment.

With divine and true wisdom and discernment,

The Heart of Loving Glory

Friday, September 10th, 2010

You may or may not be aware that this blog focuses on the glory of Yahweh defined primarily as His character and nature.  Reason being, what good is wisdom, deep revelation, and the ability to expound on heavenlies mysteries and yet possess unGod-like shallow character?  Many of us look to 1 Corinthians 13 as a measuring element of how loving we are and many of us disqualify merely by the bolded portion in the below verse:

It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. – 1 Corinthians 13:5

I’m guilty of seeking my own way with God and others.  Forgive me, oh LORD; wash me.  Help me Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) to please Yahweh in this way.  We should be seeking Yahweh’s way, not our own way in every situation, interaction, and relationship.  This is the heart of loving glory for others as well as how we demonstrate our loving commitment to deny ourselves, take up our cross, follow Yahshua, and become true disciples and sons.

Grace and glory,

Get Under the Cloud!

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up the mountain . . . Exodus 24:18 AMP

For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys. – Exodus 40:38

The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people. – Exodus 13:22 AMP

Under the cloud there is:

  • Protection
  • Provision
  • Prosperity
  • Health
  • Wellness
  • Peace
  • Prayer
  • Obedience
  • And so much more . . .

Are you under the cloud?  If you are experiencing these bulleted items, you can answer affirmatively.  Now, I’m not talking about an occasional manifestation of the above (e.g., prosperity).  That which I see is a consistent stream of glory (i.e., a flow if you will).  Well, this is a call to come into that place.  Get under the cloud!  If you need help getting here, reach out to me.

And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, Lord, are in the midst of this people [of Israel], that You, Lord, are seen face to face, and that Your cloud stands over them, and that You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.  - Numbers 14:14 AMP

Clothed With Glory

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Almost 10 years ago when I facilitated a bible study in my home, Elohim spoke prophetically to that small intimate group of desperate, hungry women, and He told us that we would wear His glory like a fur.  We would live in His glory.  We wouldn’t take it off and put it on, but we would wear it like a woman wears a fur coat.  I’m now coming into this prophecy as I can feel (i.e., spiritually discern) a draping, or robing if you will, of His glory on me and upon me.  Only He can cause us to “be” glory and hence wear His glory like a garment.  He promised to put a ring on our finder, robe us, and give us a new name (Isaiah 61, 62:2-3, 66:22, Luke 15:22, Revelation 2:17, 3:12)!

Too many of us focus solely on wearing the armor of Elohim (God).  Yes, we should as we battle the antagonistic enemy of the Spirit called flesh (includes your flesh and the flesh of others).  Yes, we should keep on and never take off the armor of God, but what about your glory clothes . . . are you wearing them?

Captivated by glory,

Where’s my Inheritance?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, “Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.”– Numbers 18:20 KJV

ADONAI said to Aharon, “You are not to have any inheritance or portion in their land; I am your portion and inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” – Numbers 18:20 CJB

If you’re allowing Holy Spirit to mentor you via this blog, you know the pursuit of glory is about manifesting God’s character in every area of your life (i.e., ministry, business home, job, etc.)  This is a process which The Making outlines in greater detail.  You don’t get here overnight.  Many of us start out believing in our inheritance as it relates to the glory and midway through the perfecting part, we start getting anxious.  We start thinking or asking, “Where’s my inheritance?”  We start looking for prophecies relating to our glorious inheritance to come to pass.  I’m here today to tell you what God told me the holdup is.  When you are mature, your inheritance will be released.  When you are ready (e.g., fully mature) with Christ fully formed, developed, and  seen, He’ll release the intended glory, miracles, signs, wonders, etc.

If a natural parent does not give their children access to their inheritance until the right age, what makes us think God is going to release ours any soon than the fullness of time?  Keep your focus on the perfecting process and before you know it, your inheritance will manifest!

From glory to glory,

Living Free in the Glory – Part II

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

For, brothers, you were called to be free. Only do not let that freedom become an excuse for allowing your old nature to have its way. Instead, serve one another in love.” – Galatians 5:13 CJB

For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.” – Galatians 5:13 AMP

Yesterday, we spoke about all Elohim (God) will show us and cause us to explore when we live in the glory on a regular basis.  Unfortunately, many never experience this type of freedom because they are living primarily from their soul.  When you live from your soul on a regular basis, you’ll find yourself in bondage to the soul’s desires, whims, and appetites.  Can you see how restrictive that is?  It’s funny how many of us believe that living from the soul is where freedom is.

I’m here to tell you that is far from the truth.  The truth is:  You are severely hindered and restricted to this earthly realm only when you live from your soul.  The only explorations and journeys you’ll find yourself on are the appetites, whims, and lusts of your flesh.  What low level living.  It’s time to live free in the glory!  If you are ready for this journey and would like support, let me be your midwife of glory through The Making.

Resting in His glory,

Karen sig-the making

The Promise Land is The Glory

Monday, November 16th, 2009

In Christendom we hear so much about harvest and Elohim (God) bringing us into our promise land. In other words, we look for, expect, and sow towards our land flowing with milk and honey. Most of the time the emphasis is on the natural and material things that entering the promise land brings to us. Did it ever cross your mind that the promise land is a spiritual inheritance or a spiritual place?

Ezekiel 20:6,15 clued me into this.

In these passages of scripture Elohim (God) refers to the land flowing with milk and honey as the glory of all lands. The natural land isn’t the glory; the spiritual land is the glory of all lands! What are the spiritual lands? They are the things Jesus gave us the power to do and be:

  • Cast out devils
  • Open blind eyes
  • Set the oppressed free
  • Lame shall walk
  • Deaf ears unstopped
  • Righteousness
  • Holiness
  • Purity
  • Idolatry free

Now these are the glory of all the lands and the true milk and honey to feast on, live by, and pass on to others.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Karen sig-the making
