Strict Obedience

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

The reason why many  ministers will never live in the glory or even create a habitation for the Most High Elohim (God) is because they are unwilling to walk in strict obedience.  We must strictly and unhesitantly obey all that God commands in order to create a place where His glory abides.  So don’t be fooled by those who say, “His glory abides here” or “it abides over there,” but when you look at their lives, you see all kinds of sin and disobedience.

I highly doubt the rigidly righteous God, who created us to obey Him as the King of Glory that He is, is abiding there.  We are funny people!  We want what God possesses and who He is, but we don’t want want to obey Him (i.e., do what it takes) to receive it.  Then, we start making up stuff, fabricating things, and eventually deceiving ourselves and others into believing that we are obeying and that He is dwelling with us.  I come today to tell you if you are not walking in strict obedience, The King of glory shall not come in.  I don’t care how much you lift up you head (and hands), quote Psalm 24:7-10, and dance around.

If you hopped over Psalm 24:3-5 have not lifted up you life as a holy sacrifice, The King of Glory is not coming

Under the Cloud

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

When you are under the cloud, you only move when He says move.   You don’t make hasty moves when you are under the cloud because you know His protection and power may not follow.  What hasty moves (i.e., financial, ministerial, business, family decisions) are you making?  It’s a dangerous thing to move when the cloud isn’t moving.  It can hurt your life and the life of others.

Mentee, if we are going to live in the glory, we have to learn to move with the cloud, stay under the cloud, and how to cause others to come under the cloud.  I pray that your spiritual senses become heightened to when God wants you to stay, advance, or move forward.  There is a fresh glory under the cloud, and books are birthed; ministries are born; new Kingdom legislation is established.  Many blessings await you, mentee under the cloud.  The blessings of safety, audibly clear communication with God, and divine instructions for those He’s called you to lead are under the cloud.

Captivated by glory,

Karen sig-the making

Clothed With Glory

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Almost 10 years ago when I facilitated a bible study in my home, Elohim spoke prophetically to that small intimate group of desperate, hungry women, and He told us that we would wear His glory like a fur.  We would live in His glory.  We wouldn’t take it off and put it on, but we would wear it like a woman wears a fur coat.  I’m now coming into this prophecy as I can feel (i.e., spiritually discern) a draping, or robing if you will, of His glory on me and upon me.  Only He can cause us to “be” glory and hence wear His glory like a garment.  He promised to put a ring on our finder, robe us, and give us a new name (Isaiah 61, 62:2-3, 66:22, Luke 15:22, Revelation 2:17, 3:12)!

Too many of us focus solely on wearing the armor of Elohim (God).  Yes, we should as we battle the antagonistic enemy of the Spirit called flesh (includes your flesh and the flesh of others).  Yes, we should keep on and never take off the armor of God, but what about your glory clothes . . . are you wearing them?

Captivated by glory,

Ascending

Friday, July 16th, 2010

So all of us, with faces unveiled, see as in a mirror the glory of the Lord; and we are being changed into his very image, from one degree of glory to the next, by ADONAI the Spirit.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18 CJB

Mentee, there is only one way to ascend into the glory of God and that’s to obey. It’s your obedience and my obedience that cause us to ascend into glorious places that God desires to take us. So if it looks like things are stagnant, ask what am I not obeying, God? When He gives you the answer, do it. It’s so easy to make excuses over time for why we either can’t, don’t, or just won’t do what He commanded us to do. We say things like, “He knows where I am right now” and “He sees everything I’m going through.” While this is true, it doesn’t make you or I exempt from our obedience to the things He’s told us to do.  Are you ascending or descending? Always check your obedience levels for the answer. Today, I am ascending.

Fresh Glory

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

My glory and honor are fresh in me [being constantly renewed], and my bow gains [ever] new strength in my hand. – Job 29:20 AMP

What is fresh glory and what does it look like?  You can recognize glory in, on, and upon you when the strength to offer up high praises in a way that the two-edged sword, which is your mouth executes vengeance on the heathen and punishment on the people.  This is radical praise; this isn’t the same ole stale hallelujah offered from week to week and month to month in the lives of many ministers.  No, this is the type of glorious praise that binds kings with chains and the so-called “noble” with fetters of iron and stops every plan, plot, and snare in advance.  This is fresh glory!  Fresh glory is victorious; it’s the type of glory that causes Elohim (God) to rebuke kings for your sake.  It’s the time of glory that turns the counsel of the ungodly to be of no effect.  You better get you some; some what?  Some fresh glory!  Go here (Psalm 33:10-11, Psalm 149:-6-9, and 1 Chronicles 16:21).

Written with fresh glory on me,

In the Morning . . .

Monday, July 5th, 2010

Are you seeing the glory every morning?  I am!  I look so forward to rising each and every day to see Him and hear what He wants to unveil and reveal to me.  I pray that you are receiving all the glory He desires to dispense daily by speaking less and listening more.  There are so many Christians who can’t quiet their thoughts, feelings, and dreams (e.g, their flesh) long enough to receive His mind, feelings, heart, and desire towards others situation and their own.  All the time they spend with ABBA is spent whining, complaining, and “a hoping and a wishing.”  There is a time for all this.  At the same time, this is should not be your modus operandi and the norm.   When is the last time you came into His presence and asked, “What do you want to talk about today?”  Even better when is the last time you just sat in His presence to simply “be” with Him, not talking or asking for anything?  How about this:  When is the last time you spent an entire 10 minutes focusing on who He re-created you to be (e.g., your position in Christ Yeshua)?  If you can’t recall, you are missing out on seeing and experiencing His glory in the morning.

I challenge you and I admonish you to get over yourself and your stuff so you can receive His riches (e.g., His stuff).  The purpose of this post is to cause you to really look at what you are calling “communion with Him.”  Priceless glory, splendor, majesty, and spiritual riches await you in the morning (Exodus 16:7). . .

From glory to glory,

Not for your glory!

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

I see so many ministers accept ministry engagements to show boat, boast, and parade their “flesh” around.  Truly, they are in it for their glory, but the ADONAI (the LORD) is nowhere in the midst.  I bring a prophetic announcement today:  This should not be your posture, mentee.  Your posture should be, “I thank you, LORD for sending me/us on this ministry assignment.  I thank you that this trip will not be for our glory, but for Your glory and honor.  Use me as your vessel set aside for noble purposes.  Show Yourself, Your power, and Your majesty through me.  Amen.”  Mentee, ministry is not for your glory, it’s for His (Judges 4:9)!

Focused on His glory,

What’s the real work?

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

There are so many ministers who couldn’t effectively answer this question.  Some answers might be:  To pray for others, visit the sick in the hospital, study and prepare to preach, learn how to preach better, etc. This is not the real work of the ministry.  There is nothing wrong with these things in and of themselves, but there is a prerequisite that many ministers miss.  They mistake these things for the “real work” and neglect the “real work” we are called to.  So, what’s the real work?  Look below:

So David left Asaph and his brethren before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark continually, as each day’s work required – 1 Chronicles 16:37

The real work is to minister before Adonai (the LORD) as He requires daily!  Acts 6 backs this premise up.  We see the apostles being led by Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) to appoint men to administrate, tend to widows, etc. so they could do the work of the ministry before Adonai (the LORD).  What do you have to feed with if you haven’t received the bread of heaven first?  I submit to you nothing, and sadly, this is exactly what many dispense daily; nothing!

My prayer is that you don’t fall into the trap of deceptive ministry work and that you purpose in your heart and make up your mind that your first priority is to minister to Him continually no matter what else you find yourself doing.  As you go about all the tasks in ministry, continually  minister to Him.  The ark that you are carrying must be mobile.  You can’t afford to lay prostrate before Him all day.  You have to be able to carry the glory with you and stay in it as you complete the tasks of the day.  This is my prayer for you today, mentee.  It’s time to do the real work so the captives can be set free by His glory!

Hungry for His glory,

He makes me to lie down; He restores my soul!

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Psalm 23:2 CJB

2 He has me lie down in grassy pastures, he leads me by quiet water,

3 he restores my inner person;

Psalm 23:2 AMP

2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self);

A huge component of living in the glory is staying in a flow (Galatians 5:25).  In order to stay in this flow, you must be still.

You know, I found it is the toughest thing to get ministry leaders to be still.  Even when they lay their heads down at night, their soul (e.g., mind) is still at work.  They can’t seem to quiet their thoughts.  Well, let me share what works wonders for me.  I recite, “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.”  As I’m reciting this within myself, I start meditating on each word. For example, “He maketh;” this tells me I can’t make myself but He can. Then I focus on “lie down;” He makes me lie down.  He causes me to not toss, turn, and wonder.  By the time I get to “green pastures,” I’m done!

I’m lying in peace, prosperity, and wellness all because of Him.  Truly, He restores my soul at this juncture and brings me back into proper spiritual alignment (e.g., living from Holy Spirit versus my flesh).  Every time my enemy (e.g., flesh) raises His ugly head and I yield to it, I’m able to return to this place of proper spiritual alignment by meditating on this or whatever scripture Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) brings up for me.

The next time you are unable to rest, get into the flow, pray, hear His voice, etc, recite and meditate on this scripture and let Him make you get into your rightful place (i.e., living in His glory), child of God.

Responding to His glory,

Karen sig-the making

Do you really practice the faith or do have your ministry favorites?

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

My brothers, practice the faith of our Lord Yeshua, the glorious Messiah, without showing favoritism. – James 2:1 CJB

Amongst ministers I have found we treat those who have certain positions and are associated with certain “big names” with favoritism.  Mentee, I’ve seen many ministers run to serve their favorites without hesitation.  In the process of running to serve the “big names” they trample over those who they perceive to be “being processed,” “on the back burner,” “not in active ministry yet,” etc.  This is not the way of Yeshua (Jesus).

If you show more respect to the man wearing the fancy clothes and say to him, “Have this good seat here,” while to the poor man you say, “You, stand over there,” or, “Sit down on the floor by my feet,” – James 2:3 CJB

Your motives for having favorites might be rooted in what they can do for you, the material things they can give you, and the platform you believe they can help you build or climb.  Yeshua (Jesus) desires that the lowly and poor become rich in the Kingdom, and He wants to use the gifts within you to bring it to pass.  Favoritism is a sin and demonstrates one who is not practicing the faith of the glorious Mashiyach (Messiah).

14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith but has no actions to prove it? Is such “faith” able to save him?  15  Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food,  16  and someone says to him, “Shalom! Keep warm and eat hearty!” without giving him what he needs, what good does it do?  17  Thus, faith by itself, unaccompanied by actions, is dead.  18 But someone will say that you have faith and I have actions. Show me this faith of yours without the actions, and I will show you my faith by my actions! – James 2:14-18 CJB

My prayer for you today, mentee is that the grace of Elohim (God) is extended to you enabling you to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only.  I pray that your faith is realized in glorious actions not empty dead words.  I pray that ABBA purify your motives for connecting with others and for serving others.  I pray the eyes of your understanding be completely opened to the fact that He is the one who elevates, raises, and provides for the ministry He’s entrusted to you.  I pray for ABBA to strengthen you and help you resist the temptation and seduction of others in ministry who have been ensnared by the sin of favoritism.  It is through Yeshua’s name I pray.

Written with fresh glory,

Karen sig-the making
