Where’s my inheritance? – Part II

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, “Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.”– Numbers 18:20 KJV

ADONAI said to Aharon, “You are not to have any inheritance or portion in their land; I am your portion and inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” – Numbers 18:20 CJB

In yesterday’s post you learned, when Christ fully formed, developed, seen, Elohim (God) will release His intended glory, miracles, signs, wonders, etc. in your life and ministry.  As we focus on allowing God to perfect us, we keep “opening the oven to see if it’s done,” so to speak and if that’s not enough, we turn to others and start asking them, “Am I done; Can you see Christ in me?”  Here’s what Elohim showed me:  It doesn’t matter if others can see Christ in you.  The issue is can you see Christ in you?  Even Christ Himself had those who couldn’t see the Father in Him.  His closest disciples, at times, doubted His very identity.  I can clearly Him saying now, “If you don’t believe me, then believe in the works  . . . (John 10:38).”

If you are waiting around for others to see Christ in you, you are delaying the release of your inheritance by focusing on something vain that may never happen.  Now, I’m not saying that people won’t say, “I see Yeshua in you.”  Some will and some won’t.  At the same time, why focus on those who either will or won’t?  How much does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?  You have to learn this is about personal relationship.  If God Himself tells or shows you, the Christ in you is fully formed, isn’t that enough?  It is for me, for His assessment is always accurate, and man’s assessment can be faulty.  So, stop wasting time focusing on how well others can see the Christ in you or if they can even see Him at all.  Neither of these insights releases your inheritance any quicker.  It’s only when God says, “You are mature daughter/son, and I see My Son in you” that your inheritance will be released.

Where’s my Inheritance?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, “Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.”– Numbers 18:20 KJV

ADONAI said to Aharon, “You are not to have any inheritance or portion in their land; I am your portion and inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” – Numbers 18:20 CJB

If you’re allowing Holy Spirit to mentor you via this blog, you know the pursuit of glory is about manifesting God’s character in every area of your life (i.e., ministry, business home, job, etc.)  This is a process which The Making outlines in greater detail.  You don’t get here overnight.  Many of us start out believing in our inheritance as it relates to the glory and midway through the perfecting part, we start getting anxious.  We start thinking or asking, “Where’s my inheritance?”  We start looking for prophecies relating to our glorious inheritance to come to pass.  I’m here today to tell you what God told me the holdup is.  When you are mature, your inheritance will be released.  When you are ready (e.g., fully mature) with Christ fully formed, developed, and  seen, He’ll release the intended glory, miracles, signs, wonders, etc.

If a natural parent does not give their children access to their inheritance until the right age, what makes us think God is going to release ours any soon than the fullness of time?  Keep your focus on the perfecting process and before you know it, your inheritance will manifest!

From glory to glory,

The glory of the oil of joy . . . you need it

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Mentee, if you’ve been in ministry for any length of time, you’ve seen much sin, wickedness, and things that will make your stomach and head turn.  We need our Father to endure in the Spirit.  We need something imparted directly from Him that no counseling session, talking about it with your best friend or spouse can give.  Sadly, many of us don’t know what it is that we need.  I’ll make it personal today.  I didn’t know what I needed.  I have been crying out to God about all the sin that dwells in those who He’s assigned to my life in this season.  I want to make sure you don’t tune me out right now by saying, “Who does this self-righteous woman think she is?”  ABBA will show you things about others to pray for them. At the same time, the evil, sin, and heinous ways we encounter as we stand in the gap for others are more than our flesh can bear.  Notice, He said through me “ . . . more than our flesh can bear.”  This clues us into the fact that by His Spirit we can bear all He chooses to show us about others.  How?  By appropriating this scripture:

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you with the oil of joy in preference to your companions” – Hebrews 1:9 CJB

The one this scripture is referencing is Yeshua (Jesus).  Let’s bring it home, now.  The Yeshua (Jesus) within hates wickedness and loves righteousness and this is why you ache the way you do as you see what He chooses to reveal to you about the sin that dwells in others.  The key here in terms of being free and not allowing the sin that lives in others to ensnare you and cause you to miss the Promise Land is to ask Him to anoint you with the oil of joy!  I don’t know about you, but when the eyes of my understanding became enlightened, the scales fell off my spiritual eyes, and I began to see, I really began to see.  There was no turning back, and honestly, what I saw disturbed me greatly.

I’ve found myself low, sad, and woe is me on many occasions.  The freedom I find lies in this scripture.  I need the oil of His joy in order to persevere with the right heart and attitude.  I need the oil of joy to pass His test, and you need the oil of joy too.  You see, mentee it’s really not about the sin that is dwelling in those you or I are assigned to.  It’s all about how we handle, deal and cope with the sin as He reveals it to us.  So I thank Him for His oil of joy for it is the strength both you and I need to continue to love righteousness, hate wickedness and sin, and not be overcome by anything but His love, grace, and mercy for us and others.

I want to leave you with one more thing, and it is this:  Don’t forget to release and send the angels of the Most High Elohim (God) to assist in delivering those who have sin dwelling in their members.  Don’t attempt to do what He’s called you to do in the flesh.  He provided supernatural aid and resources because we need them.  I admonish you to use them by appropriating the below scripture on the behalf of those assigned to you:

Aren’t they all merely spirits who serve, sent out to help those whom God will deliver?” – Hebrews 1:14 CJB

What sin is dwelling in you? – Part I

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

7 Therefore, what are we to say? That the Torah is sinful? Heaven forbid! Rather, the function of the Torah was that without it, I would not have known what sin is. For example, I would not have become conscious of what greed is if the Torah had not said, “Thou shalt not covet.”

8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of evil desires – for apart from Torah, sin is dead.

9 I was once alive outside the framework of Torah. But when the commandment really encountered me, sin sprang to life,

10 and I died. The commandment that was intended to bring me life was found to be bringing me death!

11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me; and through the commandment, sin killed me.

12 So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just and good.

13 Then did something good become for me the source of death? Heaven forbid! Rather, it was sin working death in me through something good, so that sin might be clearly exposed as sin, so that sin through the commandment might come to be experienced as sinful beyond measure.

14 For we know that the Torah is of the Spirit; but as for me, I am bound to the old nature, sold to sin as a slave.

15 I don’t understand my own behavior – I don’t do what I want to do; instead, I do the very thing I hate!

16 Now if I am doing what I don’t want to do, I am agreeing that the Torah is good.

17 But now it is no longer “the real me” doing it, but the sin housed inside me.

18 For I know that there is nothing good housed inside me – that is, inside my old nature. I can want what is good, but I can’t do it!

19 For I don’t do the good I want; instead, the evil that I don’t want is what I do!

20 But if I am doing what “the real me” doesn’t want, it is no longer “the real me” doing it but the sin housed inside me.

21 So I find it to be the rule, a kind of perverse “torah,” that although I want to do what is good, evil is right there with me!

22 For in my inner self I completely agree with God’s Torah;

23 but in my various parts, I see a different “torah,” one that battles with the Torah in my mind and makes me a prisoner of sin’s “torah,” which is operating in my various parts.

24 What a miserable creature I am! Who will rescue me from this body bound for death?

25 Thanks be to God [, he will]! – through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord! To sum up: with my mind, I am a slave of God’s Torah; but with my old nature, I am a slave of sin’s “Torah.” – Romans 7:7-25 CJB

Many of us are acquainted with Apostle Paul’s flesh struggle in Romans 7.  This is the chapter right before he broke out in Chapter 8 and said, “Now, there is therefore no condemnation to those who walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh!” Many ministers have selectively used these two chapters as justification to keep doing what they are doing and give God what they want to give and not what He is asking for and requiring of them.  I know, I know . . . every time I head down this direction, people will rise up and say, “Judge not or you shall be judged.”  I am judged by the word of God just like you, and the word says, “Teachers shall be judged more harshly and held at a higher standard.”  What makes us think we can teach and preach this word and continue to justify our sinful actions?

Glory & Honour

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.” – 1 Chronicles 16:27 KJV

No glory, no honour!  You can’t separate God’s glory from His honour.  These two phrases appear numerous times in scripture. You’ve been on a journey of being mentored into becoming a glorious vessel.  Today, Father wants you to pause and call a time out so He can ask you through me, “What honour have you been denying Him through unsurrendered areas of your soul (i.e., mind, will, emotions, and in your flesh (i.e., your physical body)?”  Whether you choose to answer this question or not is entirely up to you and really is irrelevant.  You see since glory and honour are inseparable and if you don’t pass this time out test, you’ve gone as far as I can take you into the glory.  You must be willing to give it all up.  So, let me ask you again.  “What honour have you been denying Him through unsurrendered areas of your soul (i.e., mind, will, emotions, and in your flesh (i.e., your physical body)?”

For more inspiration and encouragement, listen.

Entering Into Glorious Rest

Monday, May 24th, 2010

I pray the exercise and the song moved you out of worry into a new place with Him.  Today, we continue in this theme by looking at this scripture:

“For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.” – Hebrews 4:3 AMP

We see from this scripture that when we stay in a worry cycle we have not entered into His rest.  What may not be quite so visible to us is where the worry stems from and this is what He wants us to focus on today.  The scripture teaches that rest is synonymous with believing. So if we aren’t living in glorious rest, then we are disbelieving, doubtful, and fearful and this is what causes us to worry.  The next time you start to worry or go to pick up the cares/anxieties we cast away on Friday.  Do this:  Identify the source (e.g., the fear, doubt, disbelief or all three) by asking God and yourself, “What am I afraid of, what do I fear will happen, and what do I believe that You’ve already promised/said?”

I know many who teach practicing Sabbath based on whether you should enter rest on Saturday or Sunday.  Then there are those who have completely done away with “Sabbath rest” altogether and completely ignore His command to keep the Sabbath.

I’m not here to tell you to enter Sabbath rest on a specific day.  This is something I encourage you to study to show yourself approved unto to God.  What I am here to mentor you in is a concept of a continuous, glorious rest where you cease striving, fretting, worrying, and being anxious.  For what good does it do to enter rest on a specific day if you are physically resting, but spiritually you haven’t let go of all of your cares and concerns?

I close with this scripture:

8 [This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, He [God] would not speak afterward about another day.

9 So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete Sabbath-rest reserved for the [true] people of God;

10 For he who has once entered [God's] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own.

11 Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell]. – Hebrews 4:8-11 AMP

Living Free in the Glory – Part II

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

For, brothers, you were called to be free. Only do not let that freedom become an excuse for allowing your old nature to have its way. Instead, serve one another in love.” – Galatians 5:13 CJB

For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.” – Galatians 5:13 AMP

Yesterday, we spoke about all Elohim (God) will show us and cause us to explore when we live in the glory on a regular basis.  Unfortunately, many never experience this type of freedom because they are living primarily from their soul.  When you live from your soul on a regular basis, you’ll find yourself in bondage to the soul’s desires, whims, and appetites.  Can you see how restrictive that is?  It’s funny how many of us believe that living from the soul is where freedom is.

I’m here to tell you that is far from the truth.  The truth is:  You are severely hindered and restricted to this earthly realm only when you live from your soul.  The only explorations and journeys you’ll find yourself on are the appetites, whims, and lusts of your flesh.  What low level living.  It’s time to live free in the glory!  If you are ready for this journey and would like support, let me be your midwife of glory through The Making.

Resting in His glory,

The Promise Land is The Glory

Monday, November 16th, 2009

In Christendom we hear so much about harvest and Elohim (God) bringing us into our promise land. In other words, we look for, expect, and sow towards our land flowing with milk and honey. Most of the time the emphasis is on the natural and material things that entering the promise land brings to us. Did it ever cross your mind that the promise land is a spiritual inheritance or a spiritual place?

Ezekiel 20:6,15clued me into this.

In these passages of scripture Elohim (God) refers to the land flowing with milk and honey as the glory of all lands. The natural land isn’t the glory; the spiritual land is the glory of all lands! What are the spiritual lands? They are the things Jesus gave us the power to do and be:

  • Cast out devils
  • Open blind eyes
  • Set the oppressed free
  • Lame shall walk
  • Deaf ears unstopped
  • Righteousness
  • Holiness
  • Purity
  • Idolatry free

Now these are the glory of all the lands and the true milk and honey to feast on, live by, and pass on to others.

Resting gloriously in Him,

Karen sig-the making
