When you are displaying His glory, His very nature, He’s pure and perfection, holiness, good and the only one we can even call good. An unclean, unwholesome, impure, guilt-ridden spirit, body, and soul does not bring God any glory. Well, it brings some god (e.g., the god of this world, Satan) glory, but it doesn’t glorify the Almighty God of heaven. A pure, blameless spirit, body, and soul . . . now that’s glorious!
