The Glory isn’t for Wimps!

  1. AND THE angel who talked with me came again and awakened me, like a man who is wakened out of his sleep.
  2. And said to me, What do you see? I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl [for oil] on the top of it and its seven lamps on it, and [there are] seven pipes to each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it.
  3. And there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it [feeding it continuously with oil].
  4. So I asked the angel who talked with me, What are these, my lord?
  5. Then the angel who talked with me answered me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
  6. Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. – Zechariah 4:1-6 AMP

Many of you have heard expressions like, “S/he has a heavy anointing upon their life.” Or “The glory is heavy.” If these sayings are true, then they reveal that the glory isn’t for cowards, unbelieving saints, or wimps!  Some may not like today’s post.  At the same time, folks not liking the truth never changed the fact that it is the truth. Yes, I’m preaching today!  The truth is the truth whether you like it or even agree to it. We will be judged by truth like it or not.  The truth is Elohim (God) isn’t endowing someone who is emotionally, spiritually, or financially weak with His glory. You have to be strong to carry the glory on your shoulders.  You have to be strong to live in His glory on a daily basis.  You have to have power to demonstrate His character, nature, and power on a regular basis. The strength I’m talking about comes from enduring hardship like a soldier, handling rejection with wisdom and maturity, fasting and praying, and from our willingness to cooperate with and endure whatever the Potter takes us through that He may shine ever so brightly through us. So, my prayer for you today is found in the below scripture:

“I pray that you will be continually strengthened with all the power that comes from his glorious might; so that you will be able to persevere and be patient in any situation, joyfully.” – Colossians 1:11 CJB

We cannot live in His glory in our own strength, power, and might, but we must yield to Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) in order to do so.

Resting gloriously in Him,
